It hurts my ears because of the very light, light and sharp sound. I don't think it fits so much ingame when fighting against Apocs or Aircraft Carriers. (etc.)
However, it's still a good and well composed soundtrack. Great work!

Thanks for the compliment - I've taken down the high-end frequencies for the guitar (the "light", "sharp" instrument you were talking about). It takes a few hours to re-render, though...
I say it fits with the Empire or China faction
i think it could be in game fighting music but more of an easy going/early game type attack
Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure faction "theme music" isn't battle music. From what I understand it will play during mission briefings, or maybe on maps related to the faction. But I'm not a sound guy so I probably don't know what I'm talking about...
I'm looking forward to hearing this wherever it shows up, though.
I created it with the intention of being battle music, though Sketchbook likes it as their main theme. I'll probably make a softer version for their main theme - but since they aren't necessarily scheduled for our first release, this is all the music they're gonna get for a while.
I think it sounds a little mellow for a main theme. I mean, compare it to the other battle themes - while it is pretty epic, it doesn't have the same feeling of "conquest" to it, if you understand my meaning.

Also, it reminds me a lot of Dune 2000, which I think is a good thing.
@Kerensky, I personally think that this would match the smaller-scale battles of the Talon well. You have to remember that a full Talon army would be a good deal smaller than a traditional army, and thus battles would look different.
You would be micromanaging each and every unit to maximum potential while listening to this.
yeah this Def isn't battle music however this would make sweet main theme music!
Man any kind of music can be battle music for certain people anyways yes your probly right would make a better early match or theme :)
