woah, were those Kirovs or the smaller craft? Cuz I have to say that if they are regular Kirovs the achilles is huge... but since it`s inspired by the arrow... it quite fits the scale :p

Nope. It was actually that big in-game, though also very high up in the sky.

Basically the idea. Achilles jocks are generally disliked amoung the Apollo crews; apparently, the ability to break orbit and SPECTRUM cannons that melt through dozens of feet of metal are considered unsporting.
well i'd rather have the ability to break orbit and have spectrum cannons melt through dozens of feet of metal tha two 20mm guns and a fastish burner.
Note: will the aircraft just appearing on the landpad be fixed?

The Achillies (from what i read on Paradox Wiki) is balanced by costing something like £3000 and having a build time of something like 20 seconds. One Achillies could flat line your economy quickly.
Like GeneralWolfDios said, it's expensive and takes some time to invest in, but at the same time, it's anti-aircraft only. You don't need to worry about it taking out your conyard.
