An expansion/overhaul mod of epic proportions, with entirely rebalanced gameplay, expanded factions, new gametypes, graphical overhauls, and five new factions; stealth-based Confederate Revolutionaries, tower defense-inspired Atomic Kingdom of China, economy-focused Mediterranean Syndicate, DotA-esque Order of the Talon and spammy Electrical Protectorate.

Very nice, though the lifting vehicles function was a diversity and unique feature that only the Soviets had, in the vanilla game.

I think it would be nice if you kept diversities and focused on rather strengthening them.

It´s a bit small for a carryall, by the way good work ;)

In this mod twinblades due to safety measures lore-wisely are no more able to carry apoc tanks

These "little helis" are twice as big as the Twinblade and their only function is to carry.

They're pretty little, let's be frank, let's be sincere, but also one can notice that they are a way longer... but maybe a bit too thin, nevertheless. :-D

Um, are they based off the Cryocopter? I mean this one and Confederate Longbow? B/c I planned (when I learn how to mod RA3 -_-) to use actual models to make new ones... and this one is pretty similar to Cryo'.

If you look back in the screenshots, you can see the model they made. Unless they took the cryocopter model, detextured it, took a screen of it, then waited to retexture it, which I doubt.

Now, I was expecting (and kind of hoping) that the Caryall would be a completely huge, like the size of an Aircraft Carrier; so huge it would need a Zhukov to intercept it. But there's several reasons why we should accept it.

A. It's their mod, they can do whatever they want.
B. A unit that huge would be unwieldy to use in game.
C. I'd imagine it would be a textural nightmare to get it to look right.
D. Making it bigger would mean more work, and mean less work for other units.
E. The units it's carrying are big itself, so the Caryall may only look small.

Hmm, you misunderstood me. I only asked if the MODEL [not the picture!], was based on Cryo' one. -_- 3D modelling, you know. Not photoshopping... :-D

Well, they tried to hung Helge for a lack of realism, now they want to have a long thin 'copter to carry big things. :-) Is it just or fair?

Besides, it could be done with a support power or something, you know how big units are used to certain protocols.

Actually, there is a simpler reason. The Allies are a much more, ahem, rational faction than the others, comparitively speaking, especially when it comes to air units. While they do make strange machines and technologies, they delberately avoid massive oversized superweapons like everyone else. Look at the high-level units of the Allies; a medium-sized fighter plane, large tactical bombers, micro-carriers, and so forth. The Allies have no grand visions of hugely oversized war machines; they just build what works, for the most part.

Well, that's true, overlooked it. Hmmm, with some Allied wonderful devices this carryall could be a bit more realistic.

I think the "small" issue could be fixed with some good comparison shots.
Have a picture of it actually carrying the Aircraft Carrier, the MCV, and vehicles we are more familiar with. Then maybe have it on the ground with a peacekeeper, a guardian, and a vindicator. Give us good comparisons and we can judge more appropriately its size.

Am I just asking for more screenshots? Yes

Is it too much to ask? Perhaps, although it should only take a few seconds to boot up the game and throw a few units together, right?

Do I fully respect you guys, love most of your stuff, and want to get a better feel for what I'm looking at? You Bet!

This "little" heli is around as big or even bigger than an apoc it isn't small what so ever. Plus what units in ra3 are to scale i mean the apoc must be tiny a person is almost taller than it like literally the apoc is about the same size as a Bradley IFV

tbh it's more stupid than a twin carrying an apoc, it needs to be bigger, or at least be slow as hell while carrying large things

The Carryall is no more ridiculous then combat mecha, lightning throwers, or space-time warping teleporters. Also, if it looks any bigger, it'll look really stupid when transporting small vehicles.

Can it pick-up friendly units (like in 2v2) that aren't Allied? If so how does it grab subs?

can it also drop things on top of other stuff?

Description

We've been given a spotlight over at the main C&C website, and in celebration I have new screenshots to show you!

The Carryall Copter is a heavy-duty lifter capable of transporting any unit, anywhere, at any time. Tanks, MCVs, and Aircraft Carriers, nothing is beyond this mighty machine and it's lifting crane.

The other screenshot shows off the PAWI truck and it's invisibility abilities, not to mention the new Longbow MK1 helicopters!
