The Mesofortress was probably one of our weaker models, so we felt an update was in order. The new mesofortress is sleeker and more in line with the Allied style.
It seems that the previous one is better.
It is better because the previous one had less detail, and looked barely capable of flight compared to this one.
I disagree, this fits the more boxy theme of the Allied TX units (see the Pion for example. I think the body could be curvier, but it works.
Yeah, I don't like it to much. :/

Perhaps a comparison shot of the 2 models side-by-side would help, though I do enjoy this new model a lot.

Anyway, looking at one old picture, I still prefer the old one.
It progress but i don't get the allied tech feeling. Try to change the body to something similar to a b-2 bomber.
I like the wings but not the blockiness of the engines. Perhaps a gentle sloping back from the cockpit to the wing roots would ease the very cubic feel.
Though this IS an improvement, it is preferable that the mesofortress have a delta wing design or similar.
This one looks wayy better than the first one, the first one is too stubby looking

I like the F-15 esque look more than the old one, which means I apparently disagree with most people here.
hmmm you realise that the f-15 is a air superiority fighter and not a bomber, yes? My point is the f-15 doesn't look like a bomber and thus the mesoforteress should be change to look like a real one.
I think it looks more sensible than the last one.

Because that would be a really good way of making sure they're always following it correctly and don't just stop in mid air. Since they're used as anti-air, just have them attached to the bottom of the Mesofortress wings with invisible string.

i liked the old one better, but that's because i have an obsession with bulky bombers, or long big ones.
Too bloxyy...The old one was really better in terms of modelling... However you could have added new details over the old model instead of doing this bloxxy-like plane.

Anyways, it's always nice to see this mod up and running.
I do like the model...but I don't think it fits what's supposed to be a Ground Attack/Bomber airplane.
I would sugggest widening the body of the plane. I see no problems with anything else.

I like the old one better. This one looks like a fighter jet, skinny, boxy and slightly long, not the wide fat and smooth bombers.

I think it is sleeker, but it is still blunt enough to look like a bomber. Compare its shape to the Apollo and the MiG, and it is significantly more blunt. Compare it to the Century, and it fits similar proportions. I don't see how it is too fighter-ish.
Much better, in my opinion. The Allies are all about corners, and additionally, it fits in better with the Experimental Vehicles. It now also looks like it can fly, and, together with the black and blue colour-scheme, and the white Allied Logos on the wings, now looks awesome.

Honestly, I can't see that much of a difference, but if others do, then it's a good thing.
Both of them look kind of flat on the bottom for a bomber to me: albeit this one looks more like a flight-worthly plane.
Perhaps a proton rocket pod sticking out of the bottom of it would help it.

I think it's way to blocky. I know you say the allies are all about corners and blocks but that doesn't mean everything has to be 90 degrades corners, don't tell me the EA moddels look like this. And compare this to the other allied aircraft: The vindicator, apollo and artemis. None of them are blocky, they are overall smoth but have sharp corners.
Believe it or not, there are no major 90 degree angles on any visible part of the craft. Most of the edges were smoothed off.
well, it's not that, but this looks "blocky" like it made of retangular steel tubes, the other allied aircraft are smoth and aerodynamic.
Believe it or not, a F-15 is just as blocky and flies as well.
I don't know what the big deal is. This one looks as if it could actually fly.
