An expansion/overhaul mod of epic proportions, with entirely rebalanced gameplay, expanded factions, new gametypes, graphical overhauls, and five new factions; stealth-based Confederate Revolutionaries, tower defense-inspired Atomic Kingdom of China, economy-focused Mediterranean Syndicate, DotA-esque Order of the Talon and spammy Electrical Protectorate.

Yeah... I know it seems a little odd that I would reply here (being a member of the mod team, I usually see these ahead of time) but he pretty much said "It will be done soon" and I saw it for the first time here.

So yeah, normally my comments on his pictures aren't public. This was the first chance I got though.

At Tier 2, the Soviets will get SIX. (Anvil, Flak Tractor, Myeche, Hammer, Mag-Lift and Flaming Ivan) So it's not as many as you think!

That's a lot of T2 Units for Soviets but Soviet's like Slow & Powerful Tanks. :P

I think the most that the Allies had, was 2 in Ra1. >.>;

Yes. Along with the Icarus and the Guardian, it'll form the basis of the new Allied armour forces.

It's not terribly powerful artillery, much less damage than most. The rapid-fire nature gives it a leg-up against infantry and light vehicles, but don't expect too much against defensive structures and heavy tanks.

so this is basically a faster but weaker version of the M100? those "wings" on the turret make it look like it would go really fast

It actually goes the exact same speed as the Guardian.

Well, take the M-100, remove almost all of its firepower, increase its rate of fire by a ton and range by a bit, and then boost its speed, and then you have the Horizon. It's designed to apply ranged pressure to enemies because while it probably won't kill them (unless it's infantry or light vehicles), it'll soften them up like crazy. Also, pairing them up with Guardian laser sighting should work wonders.

Description

The Horizon Artillery was developed as a replacement for the M100 after the Second World War, but saw extremely limited service at first after it's light 40mm artillery gun was deemed to weak for use against Soviet armour. It wasn't until the Empire joined the war that the Horizon found a niche, but by then it was too late, and few Horizons saw service. However, in the months since the ceasefire they have been a common sight in Allied armour divisions, fighting alongside Guardian tanks. It's 40mm rapid-fire cannon operates at a rate of fire more commonly reserved for machine-guns, which makes it very effective against both light vehicles and infantry, and it's long range allows it to provide effective counter-battery fire.
