An expansion/overhaul mod of epic proportions, with entirely rebalanced gameplay, expanded factions, new gametypes, graphical overhauls, and five new factions; stealth-based Confederate Revolutionaries, tower defense-inspired Atomic Kingdom of China, economy-focused Mediterranean Syndicate, DotA-esque Order of the Talon and spammy Electrical Protectorate.

Have you got a replay of an intereesting game, and you want to share it? Here's the thread to do so.

We are looking for replays that show a unique or unusual tactic, replays that show very little or no mistakes made by either player, replays that show good teamwork between players, or other fun games. What we are NOT looking for are replays of you easily beating someone with a much lower skill level.

Please don't show replays just to show a bug or an imbalance. If those replays are required, please post them in the necessary thread.

Please give all replays a description, but put them in a spoiler, so that people who do not want to read them, do not have to.

Note: these forums do not have an attachment option, so you will have to upload all replays offsite.

Me -GriffinZ, The Swede, (and Floppy) had a great FFA game, sadly I had to resign after a LONG time, but I think it really shows how to use the new units or not to use them!

Spoiler: I can say it had superweapons, capital ships, mines, a hell alot of MINES, turtling, stealth bases, bombing runs, Diplomacy (yes really), demolition trucks, Red tides of concripts and every single high tech unit the allies have!

Since I couldn't finnish it I asked the Swede to upload it, since He will ahve the full version while I don't.

Ok, here it is: Gamefront.com

I and DarkyPwnz had an EPIC game versus the AI. Gamefront.com
Including: Fail tactics, mega AI, Rocket Angels, PAWI, King Onis, Barkhausens, Superweapons, PAWI, Time Bombs, sneak tactics, PAWI, co-op expansions, PAWI and some more PAWI, proving that you can turn a game around and that PAWI is epic.

Rather unusual game, featuring a guest appearance by Open_Sketchbook

I lost my MCV early on to an auto go rush, and was left with only 2 refs, an af, and a rax that soon got destroyed by the same auto gos. How long could I survive before getting destroyed by the other three members of this FFA?

A fun 4 player free for all, featuring me, Ferriswheel42, and 2 hard AI's, both Allies. I'm Confederates, and Ferris is Allies. Truly shows what Confeds can do when they take early expansions, and nobody challenges them.

Uploading.com

Features: Confeds take 2 uncontested early expansions, for a total of 5 ore nodes. Early Jackson APC + Engineers + PAWI Truck to AI's base results in extra cash for me. Giles bites the dust after a combo of Lees, Mastiffs, Beagles and M100's turns his conyard into a pancake. Confed army then moves to Ferris's starting location. Where is he? On the water of course. So massive tank group goes and crushes Lissette and her Proton Collider, and hunts for Ferris. Many attack waves of Razor Subs later, his defense force is in ruins. M100's pull up and demolish his structures. The MCV evacuates and shores up in his original starting spot, where M100's pulverize his base after he is out of funds building Cryotowers. Don't feel bad, Ferris, you were out-economied from the beginning.

I've already done that in the 3 players FFA, featuring GriffinZ the rebel, Tayya and TheMrZ. However, that was against alive (hopefully) intelligient humans.

For the most part, the econ advantage really kicked in when the AI was already down for the count. That was the only reason I could create fleets of Razor Subs to send against Ferris's naval base.

I know we weren't suppoused to upload newbstomp but I promised Exalted40000 to upload it, and in this case, it's just to hilarious, hundreds of conscripts charging pillboxes and M-100's! So watch this for a smile, and not to see valid tactics. Gamefront.com

A good game featuring me and Galgus winning against Protroid and '56.

Tayya: can you rename your replays, if it's called "last replay" then it will be overwritten the moment we play a game.

Done, replay with edited name can be found in my old post.

I've got two, both Allied mirrors FFA.

1. Tayya and I face off, Tayya begins by rushing with claymoores, as I try to attack with multicopters (it sucks that the two can be simultaneous) His attack succeeds, mine doesn't. A few more of the pesky buggers latter and I'm all but beat, so retreat out onto the water, and with a resource advantage build up to T3 and take out his conyard, aero complex and eventually most of his base

watch out for: claymoores, from both sides. Cunning use of protocols (freezing his AA just before a bombing run), and a lone riptide massacring (frozen) infantry

link - strongly recommend, is a very..interesting...game.

2. 3 player allied FFA, between Tayya, Commander_realwar and I, in which we decided to ban claymoore rushes and swans. I tried the multichopper attack again, but am more sneaky and succeed in capturing Tayya's conyard early on, then selling it. I notice Realwar expanding with what I think to be his only conyard, so bomb that to pieces.

having proceeded to piss off but not kill both of them, I am in for a long losing battle. Then they all start building Proton Colliders. To be fair, I take two out, but Realwar's epic turtling and fortress means I have no chance of taking his second out, and am forced to throw in the towl. Commander_realwar's proton collider is ahead of Tayya's, so he fires first and that seals the deal (though he takes his sweet time)

Watch out for: Conyards being taken out, Epic turtling, repetative attacks from particle colliders and claymoores, strategic bombing and lots of superweapons.

This replay is a 2v2, on one side a very quick successful Confederate rush, on the other a Confederate vs Allies game that lasted until the one who rushed came and finished it.

Gamefront.com

Another replay- this one was a very fast-paced and close CvA with me rushing at the start but being stopped by Peace keepers for a while, and later on Swans start to wreak havoc.

Gamefront.com

EDIT: Apparently that site isn't working as I am using it...anyone have an alternative/ advice?

Is there any way to convince gamereplays.org to let us upload Paradox replays there?

@Galgus

Can't you use Uploading.com?

Jul 24 2010 Anchor

I'll try that next time, probably.

Jul 24 2010 Anchor

Uploading.com now?

ok then.

An allied 1v1 match, shows off a few things

How to stop a mesofortress (hint, not with aircraft), how OP horizons can be, a nice naval confrontation between two allied fleets, and how to protect your base from aircraft carriers using Athena and Atlas.

Secondly, a FFA between 1 allies and 2 confeds.

Minutemen rushes can be stopped if you hold the high ground, Horizon is the best way to attack a confed player, a lone M100 can turn an offensive force into rubble, longbows make annoying harassers, Minutemen can prevent aircraft carrier attacks by shooting down the drones, and minutemen laugh at allied bomber command. confed torpedo boats are rather tough to take out, and rather damaging, dolphins need to reveal stealth, dogs too vulnurable on water, and spy ifvs and choppers are a bit too fragile

and most importantly: it'd damned difficult to actually put the nail in the coffin of a confed player who you have already beaten, but haven't quite finished off.

Jul 24 2010 Anchor

Dolphins are too much of a combat unit to reveal stealth as-is imo, especially with the Pavlov.
