So what's their purpose anyways? Are they're just super conscripts summoned with a calldown?

There will be at least one top-secret protocol-only unit for each faction, so i suppose Allied Nations will get their counterpart to the Spetsnaz.
What purpose should advanced Anti-Surface unit have? Aren't Desolators just a super-conscripts in this case?
Spetsnaz are Top-Secret protocol exclusive units and you need to choose between getting elite assault infantry and getting another protocol. Their number is limited so they are not a conscript replacers.

the firing sound isn't very good IMO
is that just a temporary sound?
I don't know, this is a beta recording and many things can change.
To destroy a tank from a machine gun, it looks somehow strange.
This is common feature in Command & Conquer games.
