This strongest soldier of his kind unleashes the most powerful lightning bolts on the enemy. When activating the additional mode, turns into a walking thunderstorm, destroying everything around.
This update is dedicated to a new faction - the army of "new crusaders" called Asgard.
Formed by a group of unknown individuals, Asgard possesses an unidentified amount of military resources. According to the scant information received from the few agents returning from the mission, it is believed that the goal of Asgard is to establish a new world order. In achieving this goal, they use an army of experienced mercenaries and special agents, as well as the latest examples of military equipment, among which a suspiciously large number of Future Tech equipment has been noticed.
In order to maintain secrecy until the last moment, Asgard severely limited the number of military personnel, preferring to select the best of the best. In practice, this means that their troops are extremely small, which is compensated for by the increased combat power of each individual unit and wide opportunities for their modification
Asgard is the catalyst for the Entropy events - it bears the responsibility for unleashing the new world conflict. Their gameplay side matches their background: they are true aggressors that prefer decisive action and do not encourage turtling.
Key Features of the Asgard are:
Asgard uses multiple ways of movement across the battlefield to deploy small groups of units to any location. They have the largest selection of the best transports in the game.
Many of their units have a tendency to immobilize, disarm, and weaken enemy units. In their armament - from pinpoint immobilizing attacks to special weapons created to disable groups of tanks or even large sectors of the enemy base.
Most of their units are "glass cannons", unable to withstand a lot of damage, but destroying the enemy from a long distance with deadly attacks.
Asgard starts with a construction yard, like the rest of the factions of the original Red Alert 3. As an alternative, "darker" version of GDI in the Red Alert universe, they adopted their way of building a base - buildings are assembled into a construction yard, placed on the battlefield, creating a building placement zone around them.
All buildings are deployed on the battlefield from chrono portals, which means that buildings are invulnerable during deployment. If necessary, the player can put any building into a chronoshift state, which will protect the building from any damage for a while, but also disable the building itself.
Upgrades that allow you to move to a higher tier of troops are bought for each building separately.
Cryodrone - a reconnaissance drone, also capable of performing infantry support functions.
Mercenary - seasoned close combat troopers who form the vanguard of the Asgard infantry force. Wear heavy armor and are capable of knocking enemy soldiers to the ground with their kinetic shotguns.
Cutter - high-tech anti-armor specialists. Their laser cannons burn through the heaviest armor with ease.
Chrono engineer - unarmed military specialists able to navigate the battlefield using handheld teleportation devices.
Ghost - long-ranged, cold-blooded hitmen, excellently prepared for dueling.
Paladin heavy tank - the heavy tank is relatively slow, but has tough armor that can absorb a huge amount of damage. The 'teasing ray' system disrupts the enemy's targeting systems, forcing them to attack the Paladin, forgetting about other orders.
Archer tank destroyer - tank hunter avoids close combat to burn enemy armor from afar using a laser cannon. If necessary, gun operator can fire an aimed shot at the vulnerable spots of enemy vehicle, thereby one-shot most of the tanks.
Kampfjet - high-tech air superiority fighter, the 'Sniper Jet', is capable of eliminating enemy aircraft without engaging in close combat, in which it is not very effective.
Mjolnir - stealth bomber is the workhorse of Asgard air forces. It is able to perform pinpoint strikes, reaching the target undetected. However, light armor does not allow it to stay under enemy fire.
In order to make the faction more playable, you will have access to some units of the Allied Nations until the Asgard gets its own counterparts.

A week has passed since the previous Beta update. Time to summarize all the bugs found since then. Some bugs are expected to be fixed in a week or more, depending on their complexity.
Bug: two of the new factions are empty and have no units, or get Soviet/Imperial units instead of what they are supposed to get.
Answer: I warned you about this in the mod description, I warned you about this in the "change list" article. However, people keep saying this, and I thought I had explained the reason pretty well, but apparently not. I'll try again:
Adding new factions imply a change of specific game files, which, as conceived by the developers, it’s better not to touch at all. Modifying these files may lead to numerous errors. In particular, old saves and profiles may stop working, as some of you have noticed yourself. Two of the new factions were not supposed to get their units and bases in this update. The only reason that I let you play these "empty" factions is to make the game "remember" these factions, and you do not lose all your progress every update. Perhaps this bug has a solution, but it has not yet been found, so hard-coded it is.
Bug: I cannot start a Skirmish game at all, maps are not visible.
Answer: This problem has the same reason as the previous one. Not all players are faced with this problem, but for those who have faced it, this means that you will have to create new profiles. It is possible that this problem has a different solution, and I'm in search of it. I advised you to complete all your games before updating, so please do it.
Bug: something strange happens to my interface textures when I create a new profile:
Answer: Most often, restarting the game helps. if not, try changing the resolution in the graphics settings until the textures come to their normal position. This is a mistake of the vanilla game, so I don’t know what causes it, but I will try to find a solution.

The Entropy project got a new major update - 0.4.0. I am glad to say that we have become even closer to the release of the full version of the mod.
This is the biggest update since the start of development. It contains massive changes in gameplay and plenty of bug fixes.
Important: due to changes made in game schema files, players may have trouble loading old saves. I recommend that you complete all started games before updating.
New factions have no dedicated AI commanders yet. It means that i do not recommend you choose a random opponent in a skirmish to avoid crashes.
Over the next two weeks, i will actively fix the bugs you found.

Get rid of production waste by using it as a weapon! It causes every Soviet explosion to leave an irradiated area and increases the effect duration of all toxins.

Starting with Entropy few months ago, i have not expected so much attention and support from the community. As a result, the development speeded up, and today - 1st April, 2020 - i present to you the Entropy 2.0!
New base building system
In vanilla Red Alert 3, you are allowed to build your base not only on the land, but on the water too. I decided to go deeper.
Now you can build your base in the sky.
But it would be unfair if i leave it just like this. So, i decided to make every Imperial building moving:

Giant Rocket War Bear joins the battlefield!
Enormous size and mass allow these monsters to crush enemy vehicles by simply stepping over it.
As if it wasn't enough, their super amplified roar explodes everything that was unlucky enough to meet Giant War Bear on the battlefield.
