Probably the largest total conversion project for Red Alert 3 at the moment. Entropy greatly expands the gameplay and universe in a lore-friendly way.
The Entropy project got a new major update - 0.4.0. I am glad to say that we have become even closer to the release of the full version of the mod.
This is the biggest update since the start of development. It contains massive changes in gameplay and plenty of bug fixes. An article containing a full list of changes will be released soon.
Important: due to changes made in game schema files, players may have trouble loading old saves. I recommend that you complete all started games before updating.
New factions have no dedicated AI commanders yet. It means that i do not recommend you choose a random opponent in a skirmish to avoid crashes.
Due to limitations in the game engine, when adding new factions to the game, old saves may stop working. Two of the factions do not have units yet, since they were added only so that you do not have to rewrite your saved games every single update. They will get their units in the future updates, you can see the full list of planned units at our wiki.
Over the next two weeks, i will actively fix the bugs you found.

ummm why is it streams.big and misc.big it still works but... i cant do skirmish
What kind of problem you experienced? Does the game just crash for you, or is there any error message?
Did you choose a random opponent in the skirmish? Did you choose one of the new factions as opponent?
I warned that selecting one of the new factions may cause the game to crash due to they have no dedicated AI commanders yet.
same thing happen to me i could not chose my faction or add any bots nor change the map
I suggest you to create a new profile. I warned that the changes I made to the game could make it impossible to load old saves, due to engine limitations. I will try to solve this problem.

when i go into skirmish i cant select anything, there are no maps and i cant select any faction to play.

When the mod makes significant changes to game mechanics or adds new fractions, old profiles may react weird. Thanks EA for it. Anyway, glad it worked to you.
the only problem now is that with the new profile i cant see what factions i can and cant play they all have parts of all the flags, and it looks like not all the buildings are in the game. (not sure if thats a bug)
This is a bug of vanilla game. When you change the profiles, textures may go crazy. Usually it helps to restart the game. Not sure if it has solution at all, however, i'll try to find it.
Two of the factions (Republic and Dominion) have no units nor stuctures yet, i warned you in the description. The reason i made these factions playable is so that you do not have to rewrite your saved games when the new update comes out.
yea but also for the soviets and rising sun or did those change to the republic and dominion?
This bug affects vanilla factions as well. Did restarting the game help you?
Republic and Psychic Dominion are two separated factions, they don't replace Soviets and Rising Sun
the bug stayed after restarting.
i havent tried to re-add the mod so maybe that might fix it
This may depend on the computer, as not all players experience this error. I would suggest you try changing the resolution in the graphics settings. I will try to solve this problem.
I made a new profile and restarted the game and now it works, may that helps others

Adding new factions implies changes to some important game files, which are not supposed to be edited, as EA thinks. It makes the game go crazy.
You are right, two of the factions are empty, as i warned in the description. They were not supposed to get their units in this update, however engine limitations made me make these factions playable. They will get their own base and their first units in the next update.
i like the changes tho can we get faster vet up also the secret protocalls are caped to 2 of 3 rows is it posible to uncap it so we can go long game with all powers?? anyway keep it up looking forward to updates

Restrictions on the number of protocols were added intentionally by developers to force players to choose protocols wisely. I kind of agree with them. However, i'm currently thinking about a further change of the protocols, so i may think about removing the protocol cap, but only if it does not break the balance.
Will there be Polish translation?

how do you install this?
1) go down the following path C:\documents\Red Alert 3\Mods;
2) copy the mod files in that folder;
3) extract the mod files or install the mod (depending on the mods' type);
4) right click on Red Alert 3 in the Steam library (or just RA3 shortcut) and pick "properties";
5) click on the "set launch options" button;
6) type -ui and click OK;
7) once you launch the game, instead of RA3 starting immediately, a user inerface will appear. Click "game browser", select the Mods card, select the mod you wish to run and have fun

Commissars will heal infantry when upgraded. Upgrades will come out in 0.5.0
