I think there are too many choke points. This map can produce some of the sluggiest games. And the two water features on the mainland are very restrictive of tank movement. If there was a need to separate the two players, something else like a plateau could have been used.
Still, a very scenic and serene map. More than I could ever make myself.
Ahh those chokes... As you may recon I really hate the spamming behavior of RA3. Thats why I do all I can to reduce the count of blank open areas present in map (starting locations are exeption). There is no place for tactics if you can just one-click your hord of tanks towards enemy base using AttackMove. If there is terrain factor in play you just have to figure out the best way to move using your scouts.
Another thing is that 3v3 maps should not feature an open centered field (I doubt someone is interested in gladiator fights where the biggest one always wins).
And pounds, they just make amphibious units a bit more usefull.

This map is great, when i first played i thought it was an official map because of how polished and how much details it had.
