Welcome to Red Alert 20XX. The aim of this mod is to pay tribute to old Command & Conquer games, while giving YR a fresh feel in a brand new cold war context.
As a new year, gift the next unit to get a facelift is the Sickle. The Soviet are slowly pulling away from mech-y design, so gone is the Sickle Walker. The new Sickle Minelayer is a unique unit available to the Eastern Republic which replaces the classic Antlion Minelayer. It is now armed with a heavy motar that will burrow mines upon impact. Beware, as it holds three ammunition at a time, and reload delay can be quite long for close-quarter combat. Best to use it to harass the enemy from afar. Take note of this unit fancy 50 frames turret animation for reloading!

Kinda shame Walker will be gone, though i understand this design looks closer to Antlion Minelayer. But maybe walker will stay in other way?(say a paradrop "experimental tech" special power)
The Soviet is doing away with walker and mech-y units, so don't expect the old Sickle in any shape or form.
Nice work Danielovich, obviously strange for the walkers appear in this timeline ;)
BTW, will all soviet and allied's buildings and units remake in the future (except those already remaked)?
