What a waste of pilots and machines, then again. Those who have the ultimate sacrifice as a tactic rarely view it that way.

Japan had kamikaze so unit is definitely in their style. just needs so proper scream on this dive attack.!
yet it bothers me that one needs quite a lot of them used to make proper damage, judging by animation.. maybe damage enchance should be considered.

Description

Every young man and woman who attend the Imperial Academy of Aeronautic come from families that have shown the uttermost devotion to the Shogunate. At a young age, they are recruited by their local prefecture's Imperial Commissar and are sent at special military schools. It is an great honor to have been chosen, and each child is reminded so every day of their training through incessant indoctrination.

Among those, the ones who are selected to become Tengu Zero pilots are those that failed to reach the expectation of their officers, but still show unfazed devotion towards their duty. Upon graduation, they are given a special instruction book on how to behave and honor the Shogunate; the book is special indeed, as it include a particular chapter on the subject of sacrifice. To honor their families, their superior, their ancestor, the nation and the Shogun itself, the Tengu Zero pilot knows that, in the most dire of moment a warrior can face, he must make the ultimate sacrifice.

...Disguised as an honorable obligation, this system is how the Shogunate removes its capable, but undesirable individual from attaining higher military rank in the hierarchy.
