The main focus of this mod is game-play, graphics is important but its secondary to game-play so nowadays I spend most of the time modding unit behavior and the AI. I will release an alpha version with several units un-textured as soon as gameplay modding is done. This mod will make zerohour a more demanding game in strategy terms (MACRO MANAGEMENT). It aims to minimize MICRO MANAGEMENT while keeping important unit controls through special ability command buttons designed to provide precise and instant control of a units behavior.

Description

I have successfully implemented a new combat system for helicopters which includes the following:

1. Helicopters actively guard selected areas and keep on patrolling the area for targets.

2. Helicopters follow targets being attacked even if the target is in their weapon range. They fire on the move and wont sit idle like in traditional generals.

3. Helis have an intelligent random multiple targeting system (IRMTS) which allows fire from a free turret (30 mm cannon) as well as firing missiles at the same time. Both weapons can aim on the same target as well as on different targets at the same time. Also the IRMTS prevents spamming of missiles and overkill.

4. Helicopters employ a ground search radar that looks for targets out of their visual range. Missiles can be fired at targets beyond the visual range.

All the above make helicopters fire on the go and keeps them moving searching, following and destroying targets in an intelligent way powered by my latest intelligent random multiple targeting system in a scene that looks like real combat. All of that happens at the click of your guard command comrade general.
