Ahh, Praetor Mk I! It's beautiful! How big is this beauty next to the Mk II, would you say?

Thanks, I plan on using the 4KM length from the EU.

Looks great. My only issue is that i beleive the praetor 2 was designed in the early empire? Praetor did already exist, so i suppose you could just lessen the weapons and shorten it slighty to make it a 1? Thinking in terms of eu of course, not that disney rubbish. I do like the praetor 2 as a ship, very powerful

Not using the Praetor 2, just the ship's visual design. This is the Praetor 1 from the Clone Wars, Starwars.wikia.com

Thats fine then hahaha. Personally iv always thought that most of the existing so called procurator designs are really most likely a praetor 1. But making the assumption that 1 and 2 were visually the same makes sense too. Almost like the 1 was a test version of what would become the 2

EGTW endnotes confirm that the Praetor-I and 2 have the same design in that the Fractalsponge model represents both, however given the images used are to identify a praetor-II in all official circumstances they don't get used on wookie for the MK1 by a technicality.

I appreciate your work. Your texturing is great. When can your mod be played ? Do you have an approximate date ?

Thanks, the first test build will release when I feel that the Republic and CIS space rosters are filled enough. When that'll be however, I can't say.

Praetor Mark II was completed under the Empire because it was impossible to design and build in such a short time; it says in wikipedia that several ships of this class were put into operation in 19 BBY. If it was designed by the Empire, then the year of production and commissioning would be 18-17 BBY and not 19 BBY. That is, the Mandator MKI-II 8000 meters were built in half a year? I think that Praetor Mark II was designed and laid down by the Republic in 20 BBY, and early 4800 meters long samples from several ships were completed under the Empire in 19 BBY. And the late Imperial ships were 8,000 meters long.

I like this design but Wish it had the tall bridge on it venator style more engines at the back inbetween the big ones and on the out side of them plus two of engines on top but underneath and all the guns from the p 2 on fractul sponge and extra weapons from the bellator like it’s weapon banks

Description

Guess it's kind of neat to observe the evolution of my art style with how I've learned and progressed in Substance Painter. Pretty happy with how the Praetor turned out with a bit of clean up, and a new UV. But go back a year ago, and you'd see me thinking this iteration of the Praetor was the pinnacle of my craftsmanship in SP: Media.moddb.com

Practice really does make perfect I suppose.
