Republic Assault is a full scale conversion mod for the Petroglyphy game Star Wars Forces of Corruption. Using elements from both the current canon, and existing EU to create the best possible game experience.
The Immobilizer 418 Star Frigate, i only did some Ortho view renders since the base hull is the same as Vindicator, losing the heavy weapons and some quads.
And i always forget to write down the weaponcounts for the ships, so here we go:

I've always thought it was a cruiser, i still like it
Under the Anaxes War College System, the I-418 is classed as a Cruiser due to its size being 600 meters long. Due to this, it shouldn't even be called Star Frigate as Frigates were around 200 to 400 meters long under the AWCS, and I-418 is 600 meters long so yeah it's a Cruiser. In Rebels it was erroneously portrayed to be near the size of an Imperial-class Star Destroyer, therefore the size of 600 meters is judged to be the correct size of the I-418.

I will stick to Legends (and strangely, Canon) classification, but I understand your point
I am going with Fractals ship classification so yeah it is a Star Frigate, take 5 min to compare anaxes with ships/ names and hull specs and you will see the entire classification in SW is pure brainfart.
Best example is Gozanti Cruiser a ship with the size of a corvette yet named cruiser.
Ah, is there a list of Fractal's ship classifications? Perhaps it could be called the Fractal War College System, to replace Anaxes War College as well.
