The steps are a leftover from an early demo.
I use them now in the "load failed" chunk: ldfail.bsp
They mean some hack chunk is missing, or named wrong in the biome list.
I like the way this looks. Has a kind of haunted feel.
I'm on the path of rethinking the random map maker right now.
Heading along the path of using bigger collections of chunks
as one {file}.bsp - think that might be more efficient
as far as entity count goes.
