Project Zeus mod for Half-Life 2

Project Zeus is a “full conversion”- mod for half-life 2.
What was supposed to be a normal SWAT- exercise in the quit town ‘New Air’ turns into a real disaster. Because New Air doesn’t seem to be such an innocent town as first presumed, you and your team are left behind to help the local police force.

Though you can’t see it, there is a whole world of crime behind the façade. They ask you to dig into it but it turns out to be a much harder task than it seems. To get into their world you have to think like them and even break the law sometimes, but don’t get tangled in your own lies.

Criminals in New Air, what are you supposed to think about these small town punks… a few gangs, thieves, …. But there is something else… something deeper, darker… All of a sudden you will have to fight an uneven battle against a greater power who can turn everything in his advantage and manipulate everyone, even your closest friends and colleges. Who will you be able to trust?

An important link in the game will be the famous ‘street races’, which are very popular in New Air. Even when you are short on cash, winning a race guarantees money but don’t work yourself in debt because the racers from ‘The Andromeda’ are no wimps, cop or not. Besides the busy centre, there will also be a ‘countryside’ that is just as dangerous as it is quiet; the perfect hideout for scum.
If I were you I would prepare myself thoroughly if I were to go into the deep forests at the edge of town.

By completing missions, you get respect and money which can get you far in New Air. Interrogating people, access to private vaults at the bank, special equipment that you can’t buy in a regular gun shop ,helicopters and humvee’s... This and much more will be at your hand during the different stages of the game. Just make sure you don’t scare the civilians…….. too much.

This ACTION/RPG-mod will have a very strong storyline of 50 missions and though the emphasis is on the singleplayer, there will also be a multiplayer and in a later update co-op.

Our team is doing it’s utmost best to fulfil these goals. We started of with the idea of finishing the whole game without dropping one thing from the concept. We hope we will be able to keep to this philosophy.
