Welcome to Project Reality: Battlefield 2 (aka PR:BF2), a modification for the retail Battlefield 2 multi-player PC game. Project Reality's aim is to create a more realistic combat environment than standard Battlefield 2, and place a greater emphasis on teamwork and cooperation. Most of the aspects of Battlefield 2 that have the capacity to be modified have been tweaked, or completely overhauled, to reflect their real life counterparts, for increased realism. Ballistics have for example also been audited to reflect those of real weapons, including characteristics such as damage, deviation and bullet drop depending on a weapon systems calibre. Since EA and DICE no longer support Battlefield 2 and is no longer being played online, the Project Reality team made PR:BF2 a standalone game. No longer is a installation of Battlefield 2 required and we have implemented our own online account system for online play.
If someone were to shoot the lights, would they go off?
You need the Dumbledore kit
That ought to be fun to fight through.
And since when did Battlefield 2 have any sort of destructible environment? Course you can't shoot out the lights!
Apparently you haven't played PR then. I remember leveling buildings to root out insurgents.
Not really part of the environment but there were fences and signs i think you could run over or destroy if i recall correctly.
dynamic lights is the question here
While some things are destructible in PR, including some entire buildings etc, lights are not.
I dont know about the color of the lights, wouldnt they look better with a little more orange? Kind of like these

Not a very good video but its just that I dont think that most street lamps give white light.
Here is a more extreme but noticeable video
Just sayin... Either way its cool to have night maps and thank god you guys are not doing the BF3 kind of nights where its almost bright as day
Problem with "point light" in BF2 is it can only be one colour for all lights on the map :(
As such I've sort of gone 1/2 way with a slight yellow light :)
