Shieldwall formation makes me feel like it can only deal damage to a few enemies troops nearby, or engaging it.. really good at holding lines xD
Yeah, it is.
This formation was just implemented to the game, so its statistic can be changed however.
Some time, whenever the hell that is, we got to try multiplayer, I would love to see this Shield wall maybe not play competitively, but role play. :)
I just now downloaded, if I ever feel int he mood, I will try to make some footage, who knows.

ok so i downloaeded the mod then, at 1st i didnt see any change really then i restarted my pcu and i seen where i had 90 greek hoplites i was like wow awesome but today i woke up and its back to normal, i still see the mod is on there because when it loads i see the name but no 90 hoplites im like grrr what do i do
You mean that the UCP/TCP not working? Or all other new races are unavailable to play?
In the game folder, there is a exe called "Praetorians TLE Settings", run it and follow the instruction to choose the mode you want to play. The details of each modes are listed here: Moddb.com

ehh what do you mean 90 greek hoplite? 90 per units or 90 troops? or the problem is at your save file
hi, while trying to play with this mod, i encountered many issues:
1 during the installation, near the end, i get a message that says something like this: "an unofficial program was used, use the licensed one to install all the exe files"
2 while using the setting app, when i select any mode t l or e, it doesnt start, and many lines of code with files missing are rapidly dispalyed
3 (this a minor one) so i thought i couldnt even play the game, but if i launch it directly and not through the setting app, the game starts. all the races are there, plus some *unplayable*. while doing a skirmish persians vs forgotten legion, my defensive turret were immune to all damage.. i mean i won thanks to that but felt kinda lame..
sorry for the long comment, i really love praetorians and played since i was really young, but im a noob of modding, i know nothing about it, i dl these just because more races mean more diversity and fun! keep up the work thanks in advance.
Thank for your feedback. I have stopped working on this mod, but if there are some issues, I will try to find out and fix it asap.
Those "Unplayable" Factions were my intention, as they are temp races for those Battlefield Director to work correctly, so they aren't bugs.
About the Settings App, can you explain what were those codes said?
it will be ... more amazing if I can choose and play "Ally" like "Friend And Ally" in mode Skirmish. So I can choose two different tribe :)

I can't load the game in my laptop. It said it should be played in 1366x768 mode. But when I try using TLE settings to change the video, the problem is still the same.
What is your laptop's screen resolution? Have you type in the resolution correctly in the Settings before press Enter? You can go to the overview article and find the tutorial for this problem. Good luck

1. "Fear The Eagles" mission not working, game stopping;
2. In first missions Titus Labienus dont get damage in battle, except arrows, very op;
3. AI in campaign train big army, but not using it in epic mode;

I have problem with mod. I installed mod. Than ran TLE Settings. I have choosen and switched version. After all I ran game and nothing changed. When I do that same to resolution settings everything works correct.

Can you play online with this mod with steam?
I haven't try to played on steam, but I tried to play with Gameranger, and it works quite well.
So I've downloaded the mod and run the wizard which has saved it all into a Program files (x86) file. how do i now run the mod? i can open the praetorians TLE settings extension to choose which version to run but whenever i then open the praetorians application, it just crops the screen and only shows the original vanilla version of the game. any help?
You need to unistall the vanilla version of the game, then install the mod. The latest version of the mod is the only thing required to play the game. After the installation is finished, you can run the mod through the exe on the desktop.
The mod works fine but there is a bug when playing with the barbarians in skirmish, it crashes the game. Tried multiple runs and it crashes at random intervals be it that i am the only barb player or if there are few AI barb players. Any ideas?
I was working on bugs and fixes when my data lost. Sorry for any inconveniences.

Hi vanka.thanks for your best tle mod. But when i change mod to Total mod and play the game at the start of it crashes and bring me to desktop. How can i solve this?
