Finally, about your crash. Please follow all the instruction before installing the mod. Many players can't play this mod because not reading the instructions:

You have to:
- Have Original game with Mod Imperial 5.0 installed.
- Download the latest version and install it according to the instruction contained in each compressed file downloaded.

add new menu in villages (besides unit recruitment menu) that will give you chance to imnporve amry's armors/weapons and gice every unit a chance to lvl up so that players can add skills , like increase movement speed/mana regeneration/size of that unit ... I think this is a very big update so it'll be impossible to make such changes in praetorians ... maybe in praetorians 2 ...((( I love this game so much please don't let it die

I love this game and thank you to improve this game with Amazing stuff, despite this game is based on the roman times it possible to add medieval like army or something mytologic army with arpy or minotaur?

Thanks a lot. Well, this game is loved by many players for its appreciated strategy skills. The races also do its roles, and the Romans Time Units is best suited for this game.
Medieval or Mythology army, maybe a good consideration but I can not sure that I can do anything about it.

an new map with 8 players could be with two fortress with only 8 villages in map and for win it obligatory to assault the enemy fortress.

I do not know if here I can also put a suggestion but from your Epic Mod and 3.4 ... in the Epic Mod, the game is just normal, as if it were not a Mod, there is no unlimited population nor unlimited troops ... and in Mod 3.4, I just put on a skirmish and it takes me out of the game, closes alone ... I wish you could help me a lot ... another advice, you could include more Roman troops, praetorian cavalry. I hope your great Mod.

What do you mean about Epic Mod exactly? Does your units per squad tripled(x3)?
By the way because my mod added too many races by now, including various extended troops, so please try to change some race among teams, or try another skirmish. Thanks for your support.

I've tried mongol civilization and I have seen some things that can be improved:

1. Generals (in all civilizations) are too strong.
2. Mongol units cost too little population.
3. Mongol units are very similar among them. You can introduce some habilities like impaling load or remove some kind of troops.
4. All special units (specially mongol rangers) cost too much honor points for what they do. You can decrease requirement of honor points or improve the units.
5. It would be funny to have an infantry troop going by horse and also physicists and explorers.
6. And I have a bug on my screen. It might happen because of my screen resolution (1920x1080), but it's very unconfortable to have a flickering screen at unit control area.

I would write here when I try the other civilization. Congratulations for your mod.

Generals may strong in melee, but you can use archers to eliminate him easily.

Here some more suggests and bugs:

1. Dai viet warriors are very strong. They should cost more population or be less strong.
2. IA doesn't build any defense tower or assault machines.
3. Numidian Cavalry goes very slow. It has no sense that a unit that goes by horse has this speed.
4. Auxiliary infantry of greeks and persians goes too much fast. It's funny, but I think that this breaks with the game environment.
5. Forgotten legionaries can't break defense towers. They're also too strong, you have to go with a lot of units to try to beat them and they always kill some of your units.
6. That seems to be a problem with Persian Elephant when they are fighting in group. They don't combat in this situation.
7. I'd be cool to have unique abilites for the vast majority of units.
8. You can change the logo of the .exe when you change the version of TLE.

For the rest, I'm enjoying a lot your mod ;)

In 1.5.1 Update, there are some changes. Please make sure that you are using the latest version before suggestimg.

1. Dai Viet are good at ranged attack and ambush attack. Only special units can be powerful at melee, but they can be countered too. Maybe you can point out a bit more specifically..
2. I may try to modify this.
3,4. I have found this bug and will fix this in next update.
5. I don't exactly sure that you are meaning Forgotten Legionaries or The Defense Towers are strong :v But the Forgotten Legion are extremely limited at ranged or cavalry attack, so it is still sensible for them to have strong infantry.
6. I don't encounter this bug though. Elephants are still in combat.. Can you tell me the bug happen in which version?

Hope you still enjoy this mod and take some more time to suggest new ideas :)

5. When a Forgotten Legionaries unit tries to break a tower defense they don't destroy it and also the archers in the tower don't keep shooting them.

6. I have seen the bug in 1.5.1 version, but it doesn't happen always, only when a couple of units are fighting.

9. And I have also found that sometimes, generals don't move from where they're when you order a group of troops to attack.

Maybe making the leaders stronger like they will start with 1500HP and they will deal 56 damage

Leader are strong in melee combat as default. But they can only do their best if they reached level 4. So I don't think that 1500 hp will change anything, unless you are taking ranged defense in consider, however it is where the balance is made for archer to take leaders out easier.

the arrows are quite fast, they do not have ballistics, I prefer the original ones, a good change would be that the archers on horse will shoot slower than the normal ones, but changing the animation of the archer not of the arrow.
artificial intelligence is one of the great problems of the game, I like that they are improving, but still needs more work.
some units have many details while others have very little, they should balance them as they are in the original game.
the mod is good, but I think that they can not move forward by placing new content without first polishing what they already have.

This mod is still on developing, so adding more and balancing the existed will go on together, and that is the reason why this article is here.
About new faction, I believe in the contrary instead. Making new skin/textures while keeping original faction is only like remake, not improve. New texture is better, of course, but new faction with new recruitment tree is where it changed, because it make the faction and its playstyle unique.
About AI, I will try to spend more time improve it.
Balancing, I leave it here for the community to do it, beside my own thinking. This mod was made for us to play, so you are who can balance it. It also help keeping this mod in update with better content.

It will be more amazing if I can choose two different tribe at Skrimis mode, like "Friend And Ally" in mode Campaign. So I can play "Ally" as what I need to do. The most unique (and hardest) from this game is ... how to save our ally still survive. Meanwhile as we know, “Ally” is was just ... CPU. They dont thinking like us =D =D . I usually play at skrimish Battlefield Pompei (8) or known in mode campaign as “The End Of The Republic” map. I choose two ally and 5 enemy tribes. With more enemy, I can get more HP to buy special troop what I needed 

Yeah, however - two races at the same time is too overpowered, in my opinion. Each race has its unique units, and its combination just make the variety of troops become unimportant.

That the reason why, each troop has a unique. If you have many enemy, many "strong" enemy like Forgotten and Barbarian, also Romans as enemy, what you gonna do? you can not deffend from uniquely your tribe. I ussualy choose Romans, then I pick my ally same with my enemy tribe. Even I can wining the battle alone agains two Forgoten Tribe, two Barbarian tribe and one Romans tribe at Pompei (8), but ... I feel al =D and the most importans is ... "What Ally For?"
Many reason why I suggest to can play two tribe. Even this MOD has unlimited troops but still ... still has limited special units :) I can't choose many special unit troop more as I want. I just can pick seven unit Balearic Slingers and seven unit Praetorian. Mostly ... the game has force close in the middle at the fight if I choose "Epic Version" in the first. I ussualy begin the game with "Limited Versioan", then when my troop can not produce troop anymore, I turn to "Total Versioan". With this step, I can complish this (8 player) game with well in my laptop. I can play Epic Version with well if I choose only one or two enemy. For note, I use laptop Lenovo with intel core 7th Gen and NVIDIA GEFORCE support. I dont really understand about computer, all I know just playing a game =D =D
So ... I hope you can consider my opinion to make a change this MOD in the future.

A race that can recruit 2 tribe's units at once... Well this of course can be true but then people will refer to play this race rather than the individual tribe. So if I add them in the mod, their units must be weaker than the original's tribe, in pay for their vast variety of recruitment.
About defending your tribe against many tribes at once, I suggest you finding new tactics, or try using another tribe, since some of them are good at offense, while the others are defensive tribe.

Praetorians lover will be wait and love to try, exspecialy for player whom has play "Frien And Ally" in mode Campaign. "Friend And Ally" teaching us (player) how to improve multitasking skill. How to defend/strike, helping ally troops or ally vilage in the same time. It doesn't matter "which prefer" player will be love to play in the future. But it more that your MOD have many variety. Variety which basicly from the original this game. Beside ... before player can play using Ally (as not CPU), they must to know characteristic every tribe. To know that player still must play individual first :) You dont have to change troop, make some tribe more weaker or stronger. Even I have an experience with Elite Legionare whom can not destroy the gate, and Faraoh Guid whom can not destroy Catapult, but I think you not program them both to do that, or just a bug :) While I play this MOD, I watch and learning this MOD, about more or less troop every tribe. I hope in the future my opinion will be useful for your changes this MOD for more better, more variety. And more fun and more effecient :)

For note: I can winning the battle again 5 player (CPU) without Ally help cause two ally has been destroyed :) Only take too many hours to completed it. Maybe because the tactics/way/style I choose. In some case, I found my Ally like not want to fight, they not produce troops, or produce just a little troops. Or they just sent villager to built village which one I fight hard for it =D =D They just agresive at begining the game, attacking vilages enemy without ability to hold the vilages =D =D from all my experience using Ally ... I wish I can play Ally like ... playing "Friend And Ally" at campaign mode.

The election of the troop, defended of battlefield, not defended from stronger or weaken troops/tribes. Strongest unit has a weaken too, you can defeat German cavalry with spearmen which more cheapest and weakest for example :)

I still remmenber when I play this original game. I play skrimish mode 8 player. I spend one week to completed the game. I used "Mission Suicide" tactiss to winning the battle. But with this MOD, I only need couple hours. And I dont have to sacrifice (even one my troop except physician/medicos, wolf scout, hawk scout) any more to get winning the battle. This is amazing MOD for Praetorians lovers like me :)

I dont understand what you mean excatly, but I try to translated and my answer is ... As praetorian lovers know that in original game (No MOD), has limited troops. We can't take over more village with limited troops. Because that game has limited troops, so my strategy has limited too =D =D I dont have many choices/strategy in the original game, except using "Suicide Mission". Suicide Mission is ... I sent one or two unit archery and sent Legionare to protect the archery, to burn enemy village. Because I'm surrounding with seven enemy tribe, my strategy has no guarante if my troops which I sent to burn enemy village can survive. That way I call my strategy is call "Suicide Mission" =D =D

But with this MOD, I have Unlimited strategy, I have Unlimited choice to winning the battle. I left the original game many years ago. But when I found your MOD, I play every day. I always want to try each every tribe, development my strategic.
This game more just a game for me. There is many lesson can we put ... one of them is ... "Lebih mudah menyelamatkan diri sendiri dibanding menyelamatkan teman (Ally)". You can translate my language with google :)

Epic and Total Version seem work well for us gamer :) In the past, I also wished that one day I can play Praetorians without the 500 Limitation, and now this mod is published, it can be say that my hope is fulfilled.
And when we can have thousand of troops, it may not that crucial to save our allies, but I always recommend to do so :)

I agree, without ally, player still able to wining battle againts seven strong enemy. But ... too many hours for player to winning the battle. And sometime I feel so alone/borred fight without Ally. Have you ever play 8 player in skrimish mode (Battlefield Pompei)? Try it, you can choose five enemy tribe which you think strong. And you can take two tribe as your ally same as your enemy tribe. I wish in the end ... you know exactly what I mean :)

yes, I have read your message. You deserve good appreciation for what you done with this MOD. Not perfect yet but this MOD still can be improved or developed by you, or anybody else. I guess, you need an "Ally" to improved or developed this MOD =D =D

May I asking you something ... I got notification "is not integer value". I has follow the intruction bellow, but I there is no "Estimate folder" on my leptop.

1. Click Start->Run
2. Type 'regedit' and click OK. The registry editor will open.
3. In the registry editor, click the + next to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
4. In the expanded folder list, click the + next to SOFTWARE.
5. In the next expanded folder list, click the folder called Estimate. Several values should appear on the right half of the screen.
6. If there is one called 'SecurityKey' double-click it, which will bring it up for editing. In the 'Value data' box type the number 1 (this is arbitrary, we're just providing it with a 'real' integer). If there is not one called 'SecurityKey', right-click on the right side of the screen, choose New->String Value, name the new item SecurityKey, and then double-click it to edit it. Either way, after entering the number 1, click OK to save your changes.
7. Close the registry editor.
8. EstiMate's Security Key is now entered, and you will not see the security screen when you launch the program.

Dont you have any suggest for fix my problem?

I guess you have to disappeared "limited" elite troop. I found some tribe seem look like have no limit to produce elite troop. Limited elite troop make Romans Tribe more weakest than the other tribe, Forgotten Legionare has limited too, they dont even including "elite troop, but has limit, only can produce 27unit (1 unit=30 troop).
And ... I found Arabic Assassin has cost 7HP (2000) but have lower "power" than Caliphs Guard which has cost 5HP (3500). Similar case with Pilum troop which has cost more expensive than Pharaoh Guard,
For Arabic Assassins, i suggest you to add ability, Ability somekind likes Hunter from Barbarian Tribe. Or .... some kind flying dagger. (low range weapon but more deadly) if possible :)

In the case of limited elites, that where normal units of Romans need to be made use of since legionaires aren't limited, and overall, Romans normal units have good stats overall..
And, you can't compare unit powers with their only HPs, because there are also damage, armor, rate of attack,.. and Assassins have better damage than Caliphs Guard, while have weaker armor and HP.
Other ideas, I will take in to consider. Thanks for your feedback.

Long ago I have prepared a excel files to listed all stats of all troops, but at that time I have more important thing to do, thus it has been stopped.

I only can produce 34 unit Forgotten Legionare troop and 1 unit Forgotten Slinger. I can't produce Forgotten Praetorians, or Elite Legionare trooop. But I still can produce Legionare Cavalry. With this fact, I assume that Forgotten Legionare troop is not "regular troop" but including in "Elite Troop".

Roman become more weakest when facing The Forgotten Legionare Tribe :) Because ... in my experience, I need two unit Legionare troop to kill 1 unit of Forgotten Legionare troop. Only Elite Legionare Troop and Praetorian Troop whom match with Forgotten Legionare troop. But the number of Elite Legionare Troop and Praetorians has limited. I can't count Auxiliary Archers when facing with Forgotten Legionare, they seem look like immune from arrowhead. Usually Auxiliary Archers can kill enemy elite troop with easy.

of course a faction must be countered by another tribe... like romans is countered by forgotten legion, and forgotten legion is easily destroyed by mongols, since those legion have no cavalry.. that the way this mod work i believe lol

I agree, but I still can defeat 5 enemy tribe (including two The Forgotten Legionare tribe) with Romans tribe, but it's take long time hours ;)
But ... if " No Limited Elite Troop", it will be more ... effective, more fun :) You can placed The Archers near grass to kill Forgotten Legionare, or ... placed the archers on water area, but this way not killing them, only make them away :) or
