Hello my fellow followers. It's been a while since last time posting news.
Most important note I'm going to tell first, as you can see, mod pages layout has been totally changed. Yes we changed mods name, due old name wasn't good enough for us and probably for you. Now this is called "The Inspection". For me it sounds good, don't know about you, but it is now more related to story.
As on last news told that we're re-creating chapter one, well, I'm glad to tell you people that we have nearly finished with it and continued with chapter two. There is some maps needs to be fixed or re-created but nothing to worry, little delay with progress but I believe it's worth it.
... we are going to re-create almost whole chapter one and make extended route between waking up and entering to the first simple tests! Also, stay tuned...

I dont know if this will help, but you can export maps from the new puzzlemaker; which I believe would speed up the map making process (even if it is the brushes)
It isn't worth it imo. Each tile on the grid is a seprate brush/instance

That has been in our minds once, but we're staying with Hammer, because of In-Game editor restricts only to 128x128 brushes, entities can't be extra details, like in buttons we currently have nice lighting effect and Editors .vmf file is so messy that it makes my head hurt when I look at the grid.
Nothing like good 'ol human map-making, isn't it?
