I need the community's help to make sure that the patch includes a fix for all known bugs that have been discussed since the last patch. I know about the script needed to make the sentry robots do what they should when spawned by console command. And I know about the weapon sounds that need to be fixed so that they are affected by the volume level set in the options menu. Please help me to remember anything else that needs attention. I am not talking about changing features or adding features that you like or don't like. I'm talking about actual bugs or glitches. Thank you.
I'm getting ready to release the long awaited patch to fix a few more bugs that have been brought to my attention. All patches made after the version 6.0.0 download will be combined with this patch. So no more multiple patches. You will still need version 6.0.0 for this patch to work properly.

Oh man, this is good news. I would love to see even bigger patches... perfected doom really shows the enormous potential of the good old doom style game... in many ways not reached nowadays.
Thank you!
Well man truth is I'm just trying to polish up this mod to be done with it. I've worked on this mod for a very long time and I don't see myself adding anything else to it. This patch may be the last one. I'm hoping it is. I'm very satisfied with what I have been able to put together with help from countless other modders. So if u know of any bugs let me know.
Will there be a patch to make this OS X compatible?
No. I'm sorry but there won't be.
Ok so I reinstalled Doom 3 to start working on this patch and I never got the weapon sounds bug. When I turn the volume all the way down in the options menu none of the weapons make any sound whatsoever. I tried it in stereo and surround sound. I don't have an EAX compatible sound device so that could be a problem for some. I'm not sure. As of now the upcoming patch will not include a fix for this bug since I can't make it pop up on my PC.
I love how your mod lags the **** out of high end computers and you still haven't addressed this.
Yes,let's make the weapons sound better rather than make it run at a stable frame rate.
No need to be a jerk about it. I understand people have issues with my mod. I'm having more trouble keeping a good frame rate with it now more then ever since I updated my ATI drivers. I'm looking into this for the next patch. And yes I have addressed this already. Version 6.0.0 had much worse lag. I've smoothed out the frame rate as best as I could so far with the patches that followed. I'm still working on this.
