Perfected Doom 3 was started as a simple tweak mod years ago. After realizing that I was still not happy with Doom 3 after making some alterations to weapons and enemy stats I continued to add more to the game. Now Perfected Doom 3 is more then just a tweak mod. It attempts to completely overhaul the entire game with new monsters, rebalanced weapons, rebalanced monster stats, better graphics, new gameplay features and much more. It has been met with great appreciation and acclaim by it's users. This mod will bring many improvements to standard Doom 3 and it's Resurrection of Evil expansion.

I have a fix for all those frame rate issues so many have had with my mod since I added Sikkmod to it. To do it the next release will be a full version 7 release. There will be no patch and you will not need any of the previous downloads for it to work.

To fix these issues I will be adding everything found in Sikkmod that has anything to do with the graphics. I'll be including Sikkmod's files found in its glprogs folder and the Sikkmod graphics tweaking menu. In order for Sikkmod to work for everyone there has to be a way to fully tweak the graphics settings. That way the settings can be optimized for the user's PC build. I will however be including an autoexec.cfg file with the next PD3 release that will configure just the settings found in the game section of the Sikkmod options menu. It will not have any graphical settings whatsoever. That way if you want to play PD3 as I intended you can use this cfg file. I'm sorry that it's taken me this long to realize the error of my ways. But better late then never I always say. The dynamic HUD will also be included.

Great to hear it! Are you going to release it soon? I want to play the perfected mod with maxed AA but my 980 and i7 4770k can't handle it without going below 60 :( Is that normal for Sikmod to give bad performance even on high end systems?
