Where's the grenade launcher?
Due mostly to gameplay considerations that came out of our extensive playtesting process, we've decided to split the M4A1 and MP5 into two distinct weapons with distinct roles. We'll be elaborating more on the difference between the two (and why we ultimately made this decision) in future updates.
So the answer to your question is, "the grenade launcher is on the M4A1". ;)
Wish Valve saw it that way during development of Half-Life 1.

Hey, a question: why not the MP5SD, like in the original Half-Life?
Even in HL1 the MP5 model was inconsistent (the worldmodel was an MP5A3, while the viewmodel was an MP5SD). We decided to base it on the MP5A3 version to break the tie.
We did decide to give it a Navy receiver though since we had lots of in-person references for it and we generally like the MP5 Navy design.
