Long ago, when the word 'Hiigara' rang only as a hollow dream, the kiith of Kharak never imagined they would walk the Path to Victory. But, when they reclaimed their Homeworld and proclaimed themselves 'Hiigaran', they believed they had reached their goal. How wrong they were. 150 years after Hiigaran landfall, conflict rages across the Galaxy... Path to Victory is a multiplayer and skirmish mod for Homeworld 2 that adds new units to both Vaygr and Hiigaran Races as well as enabling the Keepers, Raiders and Kadeshi as playable races.

What exactly am i looking at here? is that the Sobani fleet in the back? and will you address their special ops side as well? the Captain of the Ferin sha fleet took a small task force and tracked down Makaans where abouts as well a sabotaged a Vaygr station lol, will you give them if possible a buff to marine frigate inserrections? and in your details you give a striking resemblance to the Naval force present at Hiigara M15 before the Pride fleet jumped in, it was an array of battlecrusiers laying out supressive fire at the Vaygr entrenched in Hiigara's many debris fields, but they did not Fly Sobani Colors :o ah im over analyzing lol

4 sobani destroyers supported by battlecruisers and a bunch of smaller ships pounding a raider fleet to bits with their kinetic weapons.

Spec Ops will be looked at minimally. Soban will have the only marine frigate in the hiigaran fleet. However they are not really laid out to fight covert operations in the time and age of PTV.

Description

Even in the earliest days of Kushan history Kiith Soban were warriors - mercenaries who lived for the thrill of battle. While centuries have past since those days, Kiith Soban remains the core of the Hiigaran Imperial Navy up to this day.

Some question Sobani methods. Brutish, often primitive and generally lacking finesse, even the greatest critics of the Sobani Warfleet have to admit: They get the job done.

One could consider that to simply be their way of life. Sobani are expected to enter military service by the age of 16 - those who are not often shunned and considered weak by their peers.

This strict focus on martial values has led to generation after generation of warriors honed from a young age for one purpose: War. By 18 every Sobani has a basic understanding of command structures. He knows his place in his Kiith and he knows the place of those around him.

As could be expected, the Sobani fight in similarly structured combat formations.

Capital ships for the main line of battle, bringing heavy firepower and area of effect weapons to bear. Frigates support capital ships by lending additional firepower or providing defensive measures against strike craft.

Corvettes and fighters provide quick and agile firepower to either punish the enemy once the heavy guns have done their job or keep enemy ships away from the precious Sobani battle line.

Compared to other fighting kiith, Sobani ships are often weak alone and virtually unusable in small numbers. But operating together and using kinetic bombardments to great effect, Kiith Soban is hard to stop as they push out methodically, blasting foes apart from distances at which retaliation is hard at best, drawing ever closer to their enemy under a hailstorm of explosive munitions.

However do not expect adaptability or originality from these fine warriors. Kiith Soban is traditionally conservative and often shun creativity in favor of tried and proven methods.
