Long ago, when the word 'Hiigara' rang only as a hollow dream, the kiith of Kharak never imagined they would walk the Path to Victory. But, when they reclaimed their Homeworld and proclaimed themselves 'Hiigaran', they believed they had reached their goal. How wrong they were. 150 years after Hiigaran landfall, conflict rages across the Galaxy... Path to Victory is a multiplayer and skirmish mod for Homeworld 2 that adds new units to both Vaygr and Hiigaran Races as well as enabling the Keepers, Raiders and Kadeshi as playable races.
First set of images showing general work so far on the different factions.
I love it <3
Its like a Vaygr frigate
wow its been a while sence someone made progenitor modles, i like it :)
It does indeed look like a vaygr frigate, which I think is mostly due to the red bit of the texture. If I feel the need, it'll get fixed in future.
I think it that the red line needs to be moved back a little an be angled slightly like the the one on the dred
Agreed with completely.
The 'weathering' looks fantastic though,
definitely looks ancient.
Thank you :)
i like the overall shape very much. it keeps to the original progenitor designs but still looks original.
however, more goblins please.
Goblins will be coming for a number of keeper ships when I get around to redoing them (still learning 3D art here. Only been at it 4 weeks). At the latest by 0.1.0 release they'll be reworked but I'm hoping for sooner.
For someone who actually has played HW2 from the beginning this might be a stupid question: What the hell are goblins in this context?
Details geometry, like fins or small boxes, antenae, showing on the ship when you zoom really close.
Thanks! Now I feel less stupid. ;)
Stupid? You can't know everything ;) no reason to feel stupid.
I know for a fact that at least one of my multiple Me's is stupid.
;)
Don't answer this, the guy who wrote it doesn't know what he's talking about.
(I think I mentioned in my profile that I'm just plain crazy) ;)
Oh no, more mes. The confusion is endless... but let's not continue this, I think we're drifiting off topic.
Thank you for the progenitor!
