Hello I am L()KI. This mod is based in an alternate earth with 3 main factions fighting for their survival The American Empire, Eurasian Federation and Remnant. It is NOT FOR PROFIT. A NON-comercial mod.
That bomber is actually a VTOL.
It's not supersonic so its more vunerable to AA, but you will be able to keep them at your base and also call them from off the map as Airstrikes.
Its got armor though, so you only really have to worry when the enemy has SAMS and other higher teir AA weapons.
Oh and some further texturing and modeling for the gunship. There is some strange texture effects because its in the World builder. It happens when there is an alpha channel for some reason. Its fine ingame though so no worries.
In all honesty that thing looks like more of a transport rather than a bomber.
It is a transport. It transports bombs.
lol.
Also remember its VTOL. Not like a normal plane even.
How does it fly? Also that other one is awesome.
Interesting design for a bomber.
I like the look of your work...looking forward so see how your jet fighters will turn out to look if have some planned. :)
Yup, I made a jet for the American Empire which is much much older than this bomber. Theres a pic of it somewhere back there in the mod pics.
Very unique!
like the dsign of the heli in the right very much, looks great^^
in terms of ore realism, which you said is part o you mod goals, the big wings on it are hindering the airflow downwards from the rotor, so it wouldnt acctually fly anywhere
in case you can still modify the model, I have some suggestions:
1. either rotational wings, which are a little smaller
2. bigger rotor diameter, as it will be less of a problem with the wings
3. two smaller rotors on each end of the wing and some additional gaps int the wings - would also counter the problem f using only one rotor and the rotional drifting (conventional counter is the rotor in the back)
this all reminds me a little bit of "men of war" (more realistic damage, physics than standard cnc, realistic scale, tank crews evacuate etc., but sadly there is the lack of the basebuilding, like in cnc)
keep it coming, great work
