Hello I am L()KI. This mod is based in an alternate earth with 3 main factions fighting for their survival The American Empire, Eurasian Federation and Remnant. It is NOT FOR PROFIT. A NON-comercial mod.
Yo, this is the 2nd last EU building until release. Also the gunship has been going through some texturing and modelling. You can check the old version in the old pics.
Most importantlty though I am trying to get the choppers to be like in RA, as in they need a pad to land on to reload.
Its sort of working. Still busy testing... Its not smooth sailing so there is a chance I might not implement it, don't get too happy. :)
Oh and the chopper is a deadly unit. It will have 2 weapon types and 3 guns ( the one on the right wing is covered by the dam blade in the pic). No missiles but very powerfull auto cannons. The two on the wings are like PDR guns and the one on the nose is an MG. It might get flares too and some weapon upgrades or replacement choices.
Either way this mother is very bad. Deadly vs infantry and light vehicles.
I see one technical problem: without a tail rotor or a second counter-rotating rotor (like seen in the Helix) this thing will never fly =P
Besides that, I like what I'm seeing here!
And if it somehow dose fly it will spin like a giant Frisbee in the air! I hope the cockpit has a gyro mechanism. If not, deep condolence and sympathy for those poor pilots that are suppose fly those things.
I'm pretty sure I've seen helicopters in real life which do without a tail rotor. Something clever like diverting air from the top rotor to the back via a series of internal pipes and such.
rotor and engine ?
Oh **** lol, I compleltely forgot the rear rotors.
They were supposed to be in the wings. So its 3 rotors, 2 in the back wing parts and the main one.
Looks awesome.
Thanks.
