The game takes place in the eve of the Seven Hour War. Fighting against blood shedding synths and frightening aliens, Adrian Shephard has to struggle his way with his fellow comrades from the Phoenix Command, with the main objective of stopping the construction of a Combine Citadel. In his journey he will find what has happened to the world, moments before the Seven Hour War.

Looks interesting but could use a bit more of urban destruction. Trashed billboards, demolished shops, car wrecks, etc. This street looks more like it's been abandoned for years, rather than the overall destruction being the aftermath of a recently lost conflict.

Geometry looks great, lighting is alright, not a lighting i would choose. Only thing that i don't like is the left building. Looks way to repetitive in my opinion.

Yeah, give the ropes more slack.

I dunno. To me the reason this image doesn't impresses me too much is not the mapping, it's the textures. I'm personally getting annoyed seeing the same old HL2 textures over and over. each city still looks like c17. but that's just my personal thoughts.

This being a WIP i can't really say much. I hope new textures will be created ... Good luck on finishing the map nonetheless MenteR !!! Creating nice outdoor street maps is hard as it is.

Description

With City 14 dotted in fiery chaos, feeling the twinge of the Combine apex, our hero Shephard wakes up amidst the action. The combine’s authority grew exponentially, without motive or mind. The city was in mayhem, the struggle for control ended in bloody and destructive termination. Combine simultaneously choked out the cities busy and outnumbered forces leaving only pockets of resistance to fend off the invaders. Within hours the city was theirs, Shephard, now alone, had to brave the city’s dangers alone. Bodies called to the wandering cremators who periodically patrolled the once flourishing city streets.
