Hello,

I have 2 sugestions for this mod:

1) You could add some realistic weapons or damage mod, cause it is anoying you shoot 2 times in the head of someone and the bitch still alive.

2) Improve the detection of Stalkers. They can spot you at unrealistic distances, at night or day.

It's basic things, I know :P

Thanks.

I think you are just missing. Headshot is a death for sure. And the technical characteristics of all weapons is very close to the real ones - not those you might used to in the various games :)

2) Improve the detection of Stalkers. They can spot you at unrealistic distances, at night or day.

If you will see more attentive you will notice that stalkers has daytime and night-time vision. Night-time vision is very limited if your enemy don't see and don't hear you. But once you start making noise night-time vision is swithced to daytime one. That's all.

No man, I shoot at realy close range.. I didn't miss :P I made the test twice.
I know that, but the detection in this mod is too unrealistic. They can spot you at realy REALY long range, at night. Did you played Complete 2009? I think their detection system is pretty good.

Thanks.

I know what you mean about the detection thing, that is easily tweaked by anyone's preferences but unfortunately i do not see any creature's ltx files and m_stalker.ltx in OGSE config folder, i only found actor.ltx ; in these files you can change eye_fov and eye_range to adjust the enemies' range of sight in distance and degrees and increasing luminocity_factor (that is 0.5 by default meaning they can see you at night just as easy as in daytime) you can make enemies not able to see you in the dark with a luminocity factor of 1.0-1.5 ; values above 1.4 i think make you invisible when you stay in the dark so even if you shoot someone and the others get alerted they don't know what is going on and will come near where they last heard enemy activity and will just stop there and point their gun in the direction of the last enemy sound they heard
almost all mods leave these values untouched and that is why enemies have almost superhuman detection abilities
I too just poked my head around a tree for a second at some distance away from mercs and in 1 second they started shooting at me :) and it was night time

Incedents of enemies's spotting you in the dark while peeping out from behind awall happens a lot in this mod,it's made me wonder some time maybe they can see through walls and are already aiming, with a grin on their faces! " just SHOW your face stalker ".
It's very hard to do stealth incursions in this mod, to say the least if there are gun turrets in the area you can kiss that venture goodbye!
