Moon. Thread - Old Good STALKER Evolution mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl

Let me start by saying, this mod is fraking great. I have played practically every english mod for SoC, and lots of partial translations, and this is quickly becoming my favorite. I really love that it does not try to make the game into Crysis or some other run of the mill shooter, and leaves the lighting engine and color pallette pretty much intact. Major props guys.

The only real complaint I have, or suggestion if you will, is the moon texture. It is far too large and rotates with the camera. That just freaks me out, and reallly kills the immersion. If it were just about a third the size, or actually part of the skybox, it would do wonders for me.

This moon was some fancy of our project founder. We couldn't deny that to him Next version will have the normal-sized moon with completely new weather system.

Yeah, that looks much better, more realistic. The moon in the current version looks great, it's just too large and apears as though it's unatural, like a UFO or something
