I have finally completed the main missions, returned to the Bar and got the mission from Barkeep, found the scientist in the Aprogram Underground, and he said something about X18 and some wierd creature. The task is gone from my PDA, should there be another one, or do you just go on from there without tasks anymore?

I was also wondering how many hybrid artifacts there are, that can be "made/bought" by the Professor. I keep one of every animal trophy and artifact that I find, in the box inside the station there, and dump it all in my inventory everytime I get something new, then talk to the Prof. to see what hew can make. I think I have enteries for TdW, Eye, Sky, Sponge, Cactus, Red Star, Hermes, Honeycomb, and Capricorn Horn.

BTW, are there more areas where checking the general channel on the radio makes interesting thengs happen? I used it randomly in the coded room behind the sniper platform in the Red Forest, heard some Russian transmission, and a Minigun w/ammo spawned right in front of me a couple of seconds later. (EDIT: LOL, I just found the PDA entry for Intercepted Transmission, what are the chances I was standing right there?)

I have a whole new respect for the mod since returning from the NPP, and going through Pripyat twice. BTW, the Dark Dealer dies during blowouts it seems, giviing him a safe spot right there would be helpful.

I found the UFO in Yantar as well, I saw it through the gat and was like :O, took some drugs and ran around behind the complex to get a closer look. I was hoping there was something there besides the UFO, but a Meatchunk on the ground, was all there was. Still, I just love that stuff about this mod.

I have put more hours into OSGSE than any other version of SoC, by far. Best mod by far for SoC, can't wait for 0.6.9.3.

There will be no tasks in your PDA in this new storyline, so you need to read the dialogs very attentively. If you look at this forum, you'll find many tips for the walkthru.

When you ask the Professor about transmutes the first time, all this information is placed into your PDA. Look for it there. They will ease your life in the zone.

Congratulations, you've found one of the secrets :) No, the radio basically lets you manage by your companion if you have any. Also you can listen this radio in various places and it plays some music from time to time.

No, he died from the pseudodogs which can climb up to him. He is made indifferent to blowouts.

You've found one of the easter eggs contained in this mod :)

Ahh, damn psuedodogs, I hate them more than any thing beside chimeras.

Thanks for the info.

Hmmm

I have been paying close attention to the dialogue about these missions. Right now I am hunting down te guy who owns the knife found in X18. Problem is, Sid says he decided to "halt" right there in teh Cordon. I have been over every inch of the Cordon, and can't find this guy. Nore does anyone have anything else to say about him. Where is he supposed to be?

OK, nevermind, I found him, missed him a few times in that area I guess.
