Which gun do you use as a sidearm?

For about 99% of the game so far, I've using the MP5. Pistols kinda suck, the two sawn-off's have not enough rounds per "mag" and the little mac machine pistol is too much "spray and pray" plus the ammo is kinda rare.

MAC-10 "Leon". It's a suppressed variant of the normal MAC-10 and has a higher rate of fire. It melts people

I used MP5 with ACOG scope and silencer, but right now I use Glock 17 just to lessen my load.

Hmmm. I want to check out that MAC-10 "Leon". Any ideas where can I get one? Thanks!

I found one in a stash in Agroprom and Barkeep offered one as a reward for one of his missions, I forget which one.

Not sure if he offers it 100%. It was one of the last ones he gave me.

If you can't find the Leon, the regular Mac-10 also melts mutants and people too if needed. I'm running SG-550 Sniper as my primary and I feel close to invincible. Nades and other explosions will still kill me though.

I've switched to the Beretta pistol as my sidearm. The main reason is, that I very, very rarely even use the sidearm anyway. The Beretta weighs less than the MP5 but uses the same cheap and plentiful 9x19mm ammo. It is more powerful then the Glock 17 and one clip is enough to finish low-mid tier mutants and humans when aiming at the head.

While the clipsize and ROF is inferior to the MP5, this is easily compensates by a better shooting accuracy.

Best side arm is NOTHING. :p

Well, for the game start, the best one was the TOZ-34 Sawed-Off, for the rest of the game so far, it's nothing, I just keep a shitty silenced colt in there because for some VERY STUPID reason, double clicking artifacts equip then as secondary instead of putting them in the most OBVIOUS slot... :p

Desert Eagle upgraded to use the 9x39 ammo^^. One click for a Bandit to the chest xD
