OGSR 1.0.7 / fix from 3.02.2020 (final version of the mod) This mod is based on the previously released OGSE 0693, but due to the large number of changes in the new patch, it was decided to change the name to OGSR Mod. This is the Russian version RePack from SeregA-Lus with English Patch.

Hey, you can unpack and modify the weapon stats to add some realism :)

1] You can find the packed configs in the main folder where the OGSE configurator is located. They are called "gamedata.db_base_configs".

I used this unpacker: Moddb.com

You only need the "weapons" folder.

2] In there, you will find a document for every weapon in the game. You can change the documents with any editor, I use Notepad++.

3] Once opened, you have to search for the line "hit_power".

4] The values you choose for hit power are now dependent of your preferences.

For example, the unedited AK74 got a hit power of 0,67. A unedited Beretta got 0,47 and a unedited Groza got 0,8.

These are the standard values for different weapon categories:

Pistols: around 0,45

SMGs: around 0,50

Assault rifles: dependent on the caliber in between 0,70 (G36) and 0,80 (vintorez/groza)

Sniper rifles: between 1,05 and 1,45

I added 0,2 to every pistol and smg, +0,10 to all assault rifles except those in caliber 9x39 (there only +0,05), +0.10 to all shotguns and +0,20 to all sniper rifles.

My "design approach": I want (nearly) all weapons to stay impactful in the mid-/lategame. Otherwise, I only ever use the vintorez and the vepr.

5] You have to put the edited "weapons" folder with into the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. OGSR Mod\gamedata\config folder. Your game will use these configurations from there on.

A little warning - All weapons become deadlier, so you will die quicker too. This may also have an impact on all quest where NPC´s fight or where you have to protect someone. I haven´t experienced any problems yet, but the game becomes more hardcore for obvious reasons.

One more thing: If you want to and don´t feel up to the editing, I can upload my weapon stats as well.

TBH, you wouldn't recommend changing hit_power because this is a raw value and the whole mod is built under this balance. What you can do is just use notepad++ and use the function search(ctrl+f) but use the tab "search in files" and search for "use_aim_bullet = true" and replace for "false", same with time_to_aim = 1 and replace for 0. This will completely remove the second you have to wait until your gun becomes accurate, which is a flawed concept from vanilla Stalker, that was used to control magic bullet, the first bullet that has no spread and increase damage. I only leave these settings enable for sniper rifles, since they require time to aim IRL, and also welcome the boost from magic bullet, since it makes no sense to shoot someone in the head with the Mosin without killing them.

BTW, PureSerenity, why not uploading it? Not a bad idea, I could test and compare.
