I would guess the white squares are papers ? I mean they dont appear to be ceiling tiles although they're oddly around fallen assumed floor or ceiling materials.
It is a WIP but it does for the moment look odd to see papers areound mainly these piles of concrete ..
They are newspaper style material that the prisioners read (and occasionally use for other stuff) They will be scattered around more after I make some more decals of them. Right now I only have 2 styles and In didnt want it to be that repetetive...there will also be totally different stuff too. The texture on the debris piles will be a lil different too...its a placeholder from the labwork maps and I need to make a new blend texture for these prision decks ;)
I assume the rubble is from the floor being pushed up...
All too often games these days, even professionally made/published ones, have piles of junk with no apparent origin. But those fit in.
Yes, it will be apparent where the debris came from.. The floor will be damaged by the fighting when its complete, and the texture on the debris wont be concrete-ish...it will have books, papers and other items mixed in, all piled up from the prisioners' cells.
