Question #1: What is "New Ordnance"?
New Ordnance is a stand alone mod which aims to bring weapon diversification & quality to the zone. Currently the focus is on diversifying and varying the vanilla weapons that GSC included in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat. Further into the development it is possible more weapons will be added & varied accordingly.

Question #2: Is this just a texture variation mod?
No, it's much more in depth than that. All weapon sounds have been replaced with newer high quality sounds taken from many popular sound overhaul mods such as darius's sfx mod. These high quality sound effects have been picked based on realism as well as gameplay purposes. I have gone through hundreds of sfx files to choose the ones I believe fit best. Also, each individual textured variant has it's own statistically diversified profile in game, meaning that every weapon variant has it's own advantages and disadvantages. Also, many issues have been attended to, as well as certain weapon animations have been replaced with better animations.

Question #3: Are the textures completely new or have some been borrowed from other mods and artists, and if so will they be credited?
This is a very important question for me as some textures have been borrowed. Credits will be issued where credits are due, I have no intention of denying anyone their rightful credit. Some of the textures have been tweaked, some redone, and many are completely new authored by me. As I am currently a one man team, I sometimes borrow textures from other artists for use in my mod as there are many excellent re-textures out there already and it would take entirely way too long to create each and every texture on my own. Credits will be published simultaneously when the mod is released.

Question #4: Where can I read all the features of this mod?
You can find it all here.

Question #5: Will I be able to edit, merge or add additional mods on top of the final mod version?
My goal is to make this mod easy to merge with other mods. As I will mainly be touching on weaponry in this mod, it shouldn't be too difficult to merge. I will post a tutorial upon the release of the mod for this.

Question #6: Will "New Ordnance" be compatible with Steam version of Call of Pripyat?
Absolutely, in fact I currently own the steam version and there are no problems with development and of course it will work for the retail version as well.

Question #7: What are the system requirements for New Ordnance?
The requirements should be equivalent or slightly above that of Call of Pripyat.

Question #8: Where can I find the credits for this mod?
I will add a page crediting everyone associated in this mod upon the release.
