If your disposition sinks below 20 towards an NPC and you fail to bribe, admire, taunt or intimidate, the NPC will now force a goodbye.
You can obviously try your luck again, but not by mashing the same button over and over without a proper response.
Did it already do this when you hit 0, or am I thinking of picking a fight?
You never got the forced goodbye. If taunting long enough they would attack though.
Hooray, now people dont want to talk to me in game too :P
Abuse the Speechcraft? How were people abusing it? Did this just make trying to persuade someone entirely impossible?
You can just mash the same button over and over. It's by FAR the easiest way to level up your character.
It won't be impossible. It's just different.
This is ********. I put speechcraft as one of my mains. I'm level 30 speechcraft, and 40 personality. Why the **** can't I do ANYTHING speechcraft related??? All I can do is bribe bribe bribe, and you guys made making money WAY HARDER in Rebirth, so I can't afford to bribe all these ******* people.
So explain to me the logic behind this. Honestly the more I play Rebirth, the more it annoys me. It's got so much ********, personal taste and unnecessary changes stuffed in it.
We should be given the option to just use the cosmetics and graphics and locations overhauls, with no gameplay changes/rebalances
