Time for a proper FAMAS to reach the zone, we've ditched the one posted before, now we got this F1 variant which looks closer to the real life rifle model.
Scope affinity is turned off, obviously you can't attach it anywhere, and the FAMAS was never built for one. If anyone nags me about it I'll shoot him :v

I'm not sure if CJ is aiming with his forehead or looking through the charging handle. In both cases that FAMAS looks as disgusting as a dead pig.

FAMAS Fires from 900 to 1000 RPM why people want a scope on it... That weapon was not made for scopes, of course on real-world army sometimes they are equipped with scopes with 4x or 2x but I do not see any use of them in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Almost Forgot there is cheaper and more powerfull guns that famas soo yeah, more one reason why not scope....
But what fire rate have have to do with scope?
Its just a game. Everyone want in every weapon mod 10000 guns, but when someone ask for possibility to attach scope everyone get mad like it would be end of the world.
Also you say that you dont see the reason for it in game... I dont see the reason to bring to the zone gun from 1940-1970.
Or why bothering with some small guns like M3 Grease Gun?
Why dont just get AK or 5,56 mm rifle that not only is better in proper combat but its ammo is more common and easy to get.

Because guess what? bullet is a bullet. It kill enemy. Lets be all realistic and make all guns realistic! One shoot = one kill, no unrealistic damage percentage. You get shoot you bleed out and die, enemy get shoot he bleed out and die...
So seriously I dont get all that whining that it should not have scope. Whole point of that mod is to make lots of cool looking guns. People play with Dragunov like it is a close-corner gun but if someone say that FAMAS could use scope we have tornando of comments that this gun should not have scope because its fast shooting riffle...
Most of players that will buy famas on this mod will use the weapon on close/medium distances since because of the rate of fire. By the way people arent mad its just a joke. And I am one of those persons that use any weapon at any distance.
He can do a special version of famas with a Picatinny rail just for scope support. Because that will advoid doing a scope from scratch.
Don't you dare talking trash about my dear antique weapons, I'll take the Grease gun over the SVD, AK47, AKM, and SVU all together, I'm a sucker for WW2 guns :D
We're adding this giant variation not just because we can, but also because they are available in real life, and some guns must be in the zone even in small batches.

Then go to Ukraine or Syria and ask why they use PPShs and StG44s. Or to Mexico and ask why the use Madsens. Or to Philipines and ask why they not only keep M3 Grease Guns, but also paint them in camo and put red dots on them. Go on, go and ask them. Because they do use WWII or even older weapons - answer is that they don't have enough of new weapons. Now, if professional armies use old stuff why wouldn't poor stalkers use them?

Paranoiia8, you do realize that niick "kuba" is a TAZ team right? So his opinion is as important as mine when it comes to adding new weapons, revising their preferences, behavior, and surely availability.
Just so we're all clear on one thing, we do what we feel is right, not what people want, so if you don't like WW2 weapons don't expect us to remove or stop adding them, we will keep adding them as much as we please, and if we don't want a weapon to have a scope than it won't get them. In the end it's our mod.

If you don't like the mod and how we do things than quite following it, for Skadovsk sake quite telling us how you feel about it, you are disrespecting us, we don't care if you're a sucker for tacticool guns, we don't care if you want all guns to have 10+ scopes all mounted together, we do guns however we see fit. Period.

Weow, you guys went nuts for the scope and didn't even ask me why I didn't use one, now calm down and put down those vodka bottles, we want no fight in the bar.
First, the carry handle is not built to have a scope on the go, meaning you can have a permanent rail, than you attach whatever scope you want, but then this rail will obscure the line of sight, we've experienced this with the previous FAMAS model, and it was utterly ugly and impossible to land a shot on targets, so I removed the rail.
Second, there will always be variants, I'm always keeping an eye for different models to use, meaning we'll probably get a G2 or whatever there is.
There will be guns which does not allow attachments, so don't go all crying when a gun can't offer what you like the most, scopes, silencers, and grenade launchers, you can't always have what you want, so chill and use another gun if you don't like this FAMAS.
The sight-picture is just outstanding. You guys have done such an outstanding job with presentation and feel that I just can't express my sheer excitement. Keep it up. You guys never disappoint and at this point I can hardly even believe the amount of material you're all bringing to the table. Good luck, brother.
