It's like an AKS-74M but cooler.
Let's call it baby ak :D
When you are too poor to afford 5.45, but still want an AK.
When you are too poor to afford a gun, you sneak behind a bandit and stab him to death.
Looks nice and shiny. Not the most eficient caliber for the Zone and especially Miseries Zone, but it does look badass.
It's meant for CqB, so yeah, it is the most efficient weapon for the cause :p Each weapon jas a certain purpose on a certain field, and Misery surely benefits from all fields and calibers :)
