I have a question about the Taurus raging judge. why does this weapon have zero accuracy? Is that supposed to be the case or is it a mistake?

28 Ga out of a revolver has a very limited range of action. Most of the guys shooting it IRL use it for pumpkin or melon killing. However most of the time, people prefer to use standard revolver ammunition for it. Don't expect this fancy gun to have tactical combat use.

As Alex said, it's a shotgun revolver, don't expect it to be accurate a few feets away, it's mostly for point blank and super close quarters.

SW500 is nice for hunting big game and big heads, but Mateba is the mother of all revolvers! it's awesome and suitable for all occasions

Hi the reason for this is that in-game stats are based on values in config file, but they are scaled differently - only to 1.0 dispersion. When a gun has value higher than that (mostly shotguns, Judge is treated like one of them) then stats script goes crazy. This is impossible to fix unless we change whole system and rely on ammo modifiers for accuracy, which is a lot of work for such a detail - especially since weapons affected by that really aren't ones that anybody uses for accuracy...

For all other weapons - rifles, SMGs, pistols - the stats are fine, are showing true values and you can depend on them when choosing your weapon. Just not with shotguns.

Just stumbled upon this thread while checking if somebody else noticed this and I can't help myself but correct the wrong. Taurus only prototyped the 28 gauge Judge and showcased it, after which it was supposedly seized by ATF and that was the end of it. The only available version is in .410/.45LC/.454 Casull. It's rather irrelevant in gameplay terms, unless you intend to rebalance it and maybe include a .410 Saiga, but it might be something that gun nuts will give you fuss about

Yeah, you're right actually, that gun was added when the 28ga variant was still planned IRL (just like early MSBS and AK-12), and then just left. Maybe it will be better to edit it, but well the .410 is a lot weaker than 28ga so the final outcome might be disappointing for some fans;)
