The Chaos Conspiracy is a fantasy/adventure game that uses the original Might and Magic VI game engine and map world. The adventure takes place in the vast world of Nimradur; a land of diverse topology, realms, populations, myths, customs, and ‘creatures’.
The central game plot is unique, unfolds in nine ‘chapters’, and is supported by a plethora of local challenges. In the Part 1 you will travel along the same world as original "Might and Magic VI: The Mandate of Heaven" but then, in Part 2, you will find completly new world, crafted especially for TCC universe.
You will discover the legend of the creation of the world, reveal the mysteries, and the conspiracy of mighty enemies. Be also prepared to fight the Lord of Chaos himself in his domain.
The Chaos Conspiracy Team (represented on ModDB as abstract Maestro Team in case of The Chaos Conspiracy for convenience):
Big Daddy Jim - TCC Team Leader, main storyline, programming, voiceovers
Maestro - 2D art, 3D art
Jeff - principal concepts, quests
HodgePodge - dialogs, text correction
GrayFace - 2D art, voiceovers
and special thanks to Oleg Lunin for participating on the early stages of the project.

So it says that part 1 is in the original MM6 world, and that part 2 is in the new world created for the mod. Does that mean that part 1 is still the normal MM6 game, and you don't see changes until you get to part 2?
Would I be able to install this, play part 1, then part 2, and essentially be like playing MM6 and then this mod?
Part 1 is a modified MM6 world with different enemies, names, texts, NPC locations and some other changed assets. Part 2 is a completely new world.
Part 2 must be installed only when you complete Part 1. Please read the instructions carefully, there are some nuances with the installation of Part 1.
I can't wait to try this mod. Until today I never knew there were any M&M6; mods. I think this just existing is awesome!
It's already available for playing :)
Watch out for quest items: if you found an obviously quest item without getting the quest for it first, consider reloading. I met a few game-breaking bugs with this.
I would like to know if I messed up the install. In part 2 are the orbs in Roc Land supposed to teleport you to different maps? They do not work for me if that is the case.
Wow, someone managed to make it straight to Pt. 2. Unfortunately I don't know the solution for this because personally I never made it (something was wrong with the starting savegame). Perhaps I will be able to find someone from Maestro Team who knows the answer. One thing I know is that you might probably need some kind of key to activate these orbs, pretty much like it was in Maestro Mod for MM7.
I suggest asking on Celestial Heavens, this thread: Celestialheavens.com
