In a future I might add new maps, sounds, new chat messages for the bots, maybe weapons and other custom stuff, for now we can say this is like an "addon" to your Quake 3 Arena.

Before I start explaining the new update changes, I'd like to say that if anyone wants to help with anything, currently I would need someone with knowledge at map making and someone with better ideas for the chat names of the MGS characters, if you'd like to help in any of these two, please send me a PM, or feel free to comment anywhere at the mod.
Now, I have been reciently working at an update for the mod correcting many bugs/mistakes and I added A LOT of new stuff, this is what you can expect:
-No more Manual/Easy installation downloads, now the mod will be in a single new .pk3 called "mgs.pk3"
-A lot of new characters and bots
-fixed the KGB soldier hood and the Ocelot Unit beret
-some characters will have their original voices and sounds from MGS games
-some improved models
And I have planned to make a full conversion for Quake 3 to Metal Gear Solid, changing weapons, weapon sounds, all the original characters (for the singeplayer arena) the menu and more stuff, but for now I like this mod to be something like a simple addon for Q3.

Directly modifying the original baseq3 pack files is bad practice. You could pack it into a differently-named ".pk3" file. Q3A recognizes it. Also, you could put all of the bot stuff included in one ".bot" script. Already did both of those (to safely try the mod out on my end), so I could give it to you if you want.
Now, for comment on the skin works themselves, I kinda like it too. Loving the new choices of ski-masked dudes. :D
I apologize, I made so many mistakes at the first version, at the next update I'm working at, I already made a custom .pk3 file, haven't tried that thing about put every bot info at just one .bot script, I'll might take a look, thank you so much for commenting and trying the mod.
