ioquake3
Free software (GPLv2+) first person shooter engine. You can use it to play Quake 3: Arena and the mods people have made for it.
Quake3e
A modern Quake III Arena engine aimed to be fast, secure and compatible with all existing Q3A mods. It is based on last non-SDL source dump of ioquake3 with latest upstream fixes applied.
Other downloads:
ZTM's Flexible HUD (for ioquake3 and Quake3e)
Aspect correct widescreen HUD and FOV. Plus some other scaling settings.

I am playing this in VR with Quake3Quest for Quest 2. HQQ look great, but it seems to render the crosshair black instead of white. Any thoughts?
VR is maybe not officially supported.

I enjoy it a lot, very nice work! :-)
But there is a small thing i can't stop staring at...
The cursor/crosshair in the menues is not completely symetrical.
It could be my eyes... would you check it plz?
