This thing has been done since forever but for whatever reason it never occurred to me to upload it to the mod page(though it can be seen in this screenshot Moddb.com)

We have it in-game and working as well, just needs some more tuning to become the true destructive weapon of the Emperor it's suppose to be.
Hope to have some in-game shots worth showing not too long from now!

Based on this rather ancient scan, you can see what seems to be a large screen in front of the sponson gunner seats which I'd wager is linked to the heavy bolter's top cylinder which is often depicted as a sensor or camera, as is the case in our mod.
Probably sensor or camera.

Looking at some of these tank renders you've got, I'd say they could do with a lot more scuffing and dirtying, since currently they look a little too flat and clean.
If you want I could add some grit to them with Mudbox.
