Can you sent it to DOW as well (as a static object)? FOK mod, BT mod?
I can't, as I have no experience modding DoW. But I migt eventually make it available to DoW modders
It is only needed the model, textures, and your permission. Next I will compile the model and send it to FOK team.
P.S. I did not abandon those grot tank conversion, performed all required meshes unification (splitting, hierarchy-ing, adding bones, etc), and stopped just before texture unwrapping. And it is ready to be animated.
Also I found the original model on forgeworld site, so I understand now its design
Yeah, i had a feeling you'd be able to do it and that's not a problem. Just that It would just seem a bit weird to give it to another mod before we even have it for our own. Once we've used it ill gladly make it, and anything else I made, available to other wh40k mods.
And great to hear about the grot tank, I feel bad the way I gave it to you, it was a model I did quite awhile ago so I wasn't that good. I now could have easy optimized and unwrapped it before I gave it to you. Anyhoo can't wait to see it in-game!
Later (in August aprox), I can sent the grot tank model back to you, in the current "dow-compatible" state, it would be good, if you can assist with texture-unwrapping. It is the only real problem for me, cause I have very little practice on it.
There are people who can do textures (again, including you ;) )
I will do both dow-animations and model-coding (OE-coding) by myself, as those processes do not require creative skills )))
