A mod focusing on the year 1065 in an alternate timeline where the Saxons had a large rebellion and civil war, with the Normans taking longer to take England also therefore. There is a LOT of bizarre, and straight up made up, stuff in this mod, and it certainly never tries to be historically accurate. I made this when I was quite young, and have decided to make it functional for modern total war players, the issues inherent to a mod made by a historically illiterate teenager still persist. "Accuracy? Sir this is Medieval World Expanded"

Description

decreased crash rates by removing mongols from the game. Sorry to mongol fans. updated themed ui upgrade. various bug fixes.

Why remove mongols? Just wondering.

I was trying to make it crash less and removing a faction seemed to work very well and made crashing much less likely. And the mongols were one of the factions that I found to be the least interesting at least in my mod so they had to go.

use this way of launching. 'https://forums.totalwar.com/discussion/132407/medieval-ii-how-to-run-mods-after-22-07-2014-update'
It works for the steam version only and my mod doesn't work without the steam version.

excuser moi mais quand je joue avec votre mod je reçois un message comme quoi medieval 2 a recontré une erreur et le jeu se ferme je ne comprend pas, peut être est-ce à cause de la version vapeur, mais je ne sais pas ou la trouver

This is a really fun mod if you still want the vanilla flavor of Medieval 2 but want nice additions such as more units and factions to the game as well!

I'm looking forward to download and try this mod after the exams. I hope the County of Flanders is playable (I can't find any screens of them at first glance), I have been waiting ages to kick some french butt with a flemish faction in med2.

yes they are! However they have a very similar roster to France with some discrepancies. They start Allied to France as however it is completely possible to end this alliance.

I wanted to play this mod, looks really cool! I followed the video exactly but it always crashed on start up due to an "unspecified error". I also re-installed the mod a couple times but this still didn't work. I am not sure if I am just being dumb or if this is because I also have stainless steel and third age? Any thoughts on what I should do? Thanks very much!

OK thats weird. its definitely not because of third age and stainless steel because I have those. What does the system log say?
