yes of course! Even better is different areas in the map vary and water also cools down your mech faster.

Difference with MWLL is you can fight underwater too :D

I don't mean to sound picky, and I definitely like fighting underwater... But...
Ballistic weapons shouldn't work, simply because, if I remember correctly (Although I COULD be wrong), rounds fired underwater are not as accurate, with the water being harder to be fired through. So if ballistic weapons DID work, it should definitely be the equivalent of a man standing and hip-firing an automatic weapon, then again, it is in the future... I guess they find some way to fix that.
Missiles... I've never heard of underwater missiles without being like... Torpedos.
Lasers could possibly work, that's all I see working.
And that leads me to;
Can 'Mechs "Drown"? Get damage from being too deep? I'd only see that as pilot damage, as if the water seeped through the cockpit. But if it can survive in places like Extremity, which seems to not have the ability to naturally support life, I'd guess the 'Mech could keep water from coming in. Also, if you are in a map like Extremity, or underwater, would a lucky shot to the cockpit ruin the pilot's life expectancy? Like if you're underwater, will you be forced to eject to evade drowning? Or in Extremity instantly die?
