This isn't an atlas. This mech appeared in MW4 Mercenaries and was some kind of experimental mech. Templar was its name as far as I remember.

Edit: Forget what I've said. Strange it looks like a mixture of this Templar and Atlas. Especially because of the cockpit.

Maybe it has some kind of blast shield over its face at the moment?

Mebe its the BattleMaster from the instant actions of MechWarrior 2. I don't even remember what that looked like, aside from big, though.

It might just be a variant of an Atlas, it DEFINITELY looks close to an Atlas, and I remember what they look like (repetitive much, lol).

the battlemaster is holding a PPC like a pistol in his right hand, this picture definetly shows an Atlas, but without a skull

why the hell is there no skull?!

Well... There is a skull, but it looks a bit different than the common Atlas.

Meet the Atlas~
A 100-ton, 15.9 meter tall walking can of whoop-*ss with enough firepower to take out a small territory in a single bound.
Once again this is another majestic screenshot of the battletech universe the way it was meant to be seen.

The devs stated that since youre physically seeing out of the cockpit, the skull was too restrictive in the field of vision, thus they went with a bubble head design.

There was a huge discussion about it on their official forums..
