"Feel the Payne" aims at more realism and a higher difficulty. It adds new weapons and features to the game, fixes some bugs from the original game and improves many visuals with edited models and new textures.
For a complete list of changes read the included ReadMe files and/or the description of an attached download. If you want to check out the new textures and edited models, check out the screenshots.
The download includes very detailed installation instructions and descriptions in english and german languages.
Note: This is the Beta release of project "Feel the Payne" and not all files have been tested excessively. All content is open to future updates and improvements. If you find any bugs or if you have any ideas, leave a comment or send me a private message.
This gameplay mod is completely compatible with any of my sound mods.

hey man i downloaded the beta v1.5 one, i read the first readme file and the one with the step-by-step tutorial, and it says put the weapons patch files in the mp2 directory. so i put them in there and open the patch.bat file. it doesnt open. i mean it does open but it closes as soon as it opens plz help i really need new weapons for mp2. i have windows xp

It's more than a year now that I wasn't working on this anymore, but I finally found the time to head back to work.
Most of the planned changes are done and I'll publish the newest version as soon as I'm done refining and testing all the changes.
uhh... how to install some kind of mod for MP2?
Just unpack the archive and place the .mp2m file in your Max Payne 2 installation folder - it's as simple as that.
what i can hear some gunfire sounds from insurgency in your mod.
That is because the Insurgency weapon sounds are currently part of the mod, yet this will be changed in the upcoming release.
maan i hate when enemies drop armed grenades, is there a way to disable it?
I'll turn it down in the next release.
