News in 1.21
-Upgraded to the 2nd CA patch
-Model fixes by Zxiang1983.
-New Hungarian banners by Matko.
-Genus names are more historical.
-Another gold mine in the province Hungarian Lowlands. Did you know in the middle-ages Hungary was the first in gold mining in Europe?
-Base farming levels are reduced even more to the new vanilla level.
version 1.2:
-Hungarian banners, faction symbols, reskinning of the units is the work of Hunor.
-The new loading screens were created by Becksim.
-Ingame maps drawed by Ainu.
-3 new province in the region of Balkan and Hungary. Hungary got a new province. The old Zagreb region is divided into a Serbian, Croatian part and a Sirmion province.
-Period names and authentic Hungarian family tree.
-Hungarians have less knights a bit.
-Battlefield assassins and Transylvanian peasants removed. Slav Levies unit changed to Castle Soldiers.
-Chivalry bonuses of the generals are far less. Improvement of the settlements is slower this way and maybe fits better to the historic eras.
-Units have 50% more movement points.
-Thanks to Johan217 for his region names.
-Thanks to HorseArcher to his weather xml file (see his topic for the complete skymod).
version 1.1
-more correct geographycal and historical map of the Carpathian Basin.
-2 years/turn remains to reach new reforms (Mean: do not win too early)
-All unlocked faction is playable of course.
-Poland starts with Breslau instead of Halych. Portugalia starts without the Navarre province.
-The Austrian silver mines are now near Praga because Bohemia had the biggest silver mines in Europa.
-Religions are far more correct at least near Hungary.
-Rebel cities have more units. Be aware this campaign is tougher!
The mod is not compatible with your earlier saved games, even played with older Magyar mod versions!
The mod is working only with the English version of M2TW. I do not know why I have only the English game.
This is a complete mod, you do not need the earlier versions.
Installation:
0. You must have the 2nd CA patch. Be sure it works and set every option (audio, graphics) in the base game. The mod will use these stettings.
1. Copy the Magyar_mod121.zip file into your MTW2 directory where medieval2.exe is found and unzip it into this folder.
2. Run the Magyar_Mod_cfg_maker121.bat file.
3. Run Magyar_Mod121.bat to play. You find it in the main directory of the game. If you want to modify your config settings edit Magyar_Mod121.cfg.
Compatibility:
It is compatible with every mod which do not overwrite the files of the Magyar Mod (most of them would do it). It is compatible generally with skin and model mods and fixes.
